The best spot is indigo caverns from my experience, gl in event. 5~ energy essence per run, 1 run is about 1min or so.
Hauntlet caps at lv 81 and the higher lvl we are to maps the lower chance for energy drop rate, indigo is lv 86. You can also level your pets there.

Good map for farming pve kills + gold. As a bonus player can get interesting loot, i see you have included force weapons, so basically player can loot best gear available in game. Another + for me is 1 week of this event. Perhaps this can open opportunity to have this great event 2x a year for duration of 1 week each? Same as last year i really like multiple maps, shows the effort STS did put in creation of this event. Last year there was a problem for higher ping players running fast lb runs, when traps were not forgiving, this year STS added elixir which solves the issue. Now my question is, where is TR map? :}

I think event elixir is kinda low drop rates right now. I am using the bound ones earlier and nothong drops. And i used the plat ones and nothing drops also. How could that possible? Arc items not affected by luck. Its pure rng, my brother looted bb hooks on his third run, he had elix on so i dont think that's the issue. Probably just bad rng for you so far. Might get 2 arcs in 2 runs or none at all for event just got to keep grinding.

chests give loot sometimes (1 legendary in 6 hours for me).
good gold .(was).
chance to loot best gear (should be in vanilla AL).
energy "problem" caused me to go find other places to loot energy, fun.
diverse event zones.
nobody leaves event zone - no need for kraken.
elixir mechanics great, incentivises purchase of the elixir.
current energy obtainability is good, incentivises purchase of energy kits.
ONLY epic loot from mobs in event, awesome
elixir kits from boss chests
good equipment from vendor
in-game event guide is great, but not clear how to access it unless you already know to just click your energy/event UI

chests annoying to loot - enemy interrupts us. - b r u h I understand this is by design, but it's annoying - if you want people to play, and pay more, make the game less annoying

movement speed in event zone too low.

when mobs are dead sometimes it takes too long to get to boss - wasting elixir because of this.
no teleport mechanic to take everyone to boss when all mobs are dead - hi bots. :D
legendary gear useless, epic is better.
barely any good drops from event, i loot rogue zaarus armor, Arcanes: some1 loot creep rifle and outlaw only after my 6 hours.
need to be level 84+ to play well, below this and you won't find much players(facts).- also, idk 4 sure but maybe below 81 and you might not even be able to kill boss, you'll struggle.
good equipment from vendor restricted to only top 100
not enough tokens for LB players to buy good equipment
10 awakening gems as tier rewards - sorry but i dont get the joke
elite gems for LB winners, even worse, awakening event has just gone - gem rewards is UNCANNY.. something else is better!!

In the video, I talk about how I feel about the event, I look for an energy farm, Hex borrows me a Kraken Set, I farm the Labyrinth, give Hex their stuff back, then go back to farming Labyrinth with trash gear. Didn't find anything special.. :D

- Chest spot is annoying.
- Gold loot was not good, but it wasn't bad either. Now it's horrible.
- Terrible drop rate. It feels like I am gambling each time I run. Been running 3-4 hours and have looted only 2x Neptaris (which is not for me since I am a mage). If I sell it, it won't even give me enough gold to be worth the 3-4 hours running and wasting my time.
- Meh top lb rewards and meh tier rewards

Overall, terrible event yet again.

So, the only thing keeping Hyberian Labyrinth playable was the gold drop. It was not the greatest, but it's not the worst. It was 'okay'. But NOW, after the nerf, it's horrible. Period.
NO ONE even complained about the gold drop being broken, yet it was still nerfed. At least EXPLAIN the rationale why it was nerfed.

Furthermore, the loot drop rate is godawful. I've run 4-5 hours and looted only 2x Neptaris. The sad part is not I am not even a warrior main, and if I do sell what I looted, it won't get me much in return for those 4-5 hours wasted running the same map repeatedly. Don't forget that most of your player base are casuals. You lose the casuals; you lose your player base.

And why does your game have a horrible loot drop rate? Like, for real, it is abysmal. People only open the platinum crates because it gives better chances of looting something than running in a dungeon for hours and looting nothing, and sometimes they have no choice but to open it to get the most potent gears, too. When I first saw this event's announcement, I thought, "Oh nice, good drops." But then I realized that the loot drop rate is hot doo doo.

Also, STOP making annoying game mechanics. That trend needs to stop fr. Whoever is on your design team making this decision needs to be replaced pronto because that individual is a sadistic and sick person. Period. Because putting the chests in the middle of the traps is a psychopath maneuver (and no, giving us 50% damage mitigation elixir does NOT make it okay. And the increased loot chance is garbage. It doesn't even do what it says). That's a cheap way for you to lure your player base into buying your scam microtransaction elixir.

Lastly, either balance the nerf of the gold loot in the event by increasing the drop rate (of anything. IDC what you increase or do, but just make it fun running this event). Or else we go back to being zombies farming gold in Zodias.

I don't like this event. It's underwhelming and not as good as the initial description. Please remove the vanity icon from the vendor Wexxar, there are no vanities for sale, totally misleading.
I'm not surprised that not many people are playing, it's just not worth wasting time and data on.

Day 2 and I was bored in around 2 hours,

I think because the gear on my account is bad,

..so I need to work harder for kills,

.................the Warrior on my account is level 86 and uses a Skull Aegis.

So unfortunately, because I don't always want to switch hotbars, & I must use that weapon to have any viable AOE damage = no Zaarus set bonus.

I considered a Spirit weapon, but I'm sceptical about the cost; 7m. Seems like a bit too much, and even then, still no Zaarus set bonus.



........Also, I tried farming the event solo with a Level 64 & Level 51 to get an extra bound elixir or 2,

well both failed,

it was incredibly hard, any more than 2 or 3 mobs and you're dead,
..so I switched to STR build...
Still really hard,
Not to mention the traps...
basically unplayable,

..even though the L51 has a good set of Dragon hunter blades which cost millions.


So which new players are going to be able to play the event ? Probably none.

The event had a lot of hype at the beginning, but people seem less interested now. From the lack of looting decent gears to the nerf of gold looting. This is a 1 week long event. If players can't loot any gears, at least let them try to loot a decent amount of gold so they wouldn't feel like their time and efforts were wasted.

As for the event itself, it's pretty okay. The maps are good, maze-like but not confusing to navigate through. Although I feel like low-level players and players without decent gears would struggle with defeating the Boss.

the loot distribution system, idk how it works but can we get a fair experience for all players. Some players have looted 5-10 arcane items with less than 20,000 points , while others, including myself, have with over 30,000 points haven’t looted a single mythic, forget about looting arcane items. All I looted are legends and epic gears so far.

considering that new gears will be introduced during upcoming events, can we atleast get the opportunity for players to obtain a Kraken weapon. at least one kraken weapon within a fixed amount of runs to promote equity in the experience of all players.

Sts should add an option on the event where you can switch other krakens to specific krakens on hardcore.

Example. Kraken Armor Rog to Kraken Armor mage. You can like craft them by using same type krakens. Weapon requires weapon + platinum perhaps. Armor requires krak armor etc.

Devs could you guys please consider putting class specific crates in store every event because it is getting very frustrating that after thousands and thousands of plat spent we get items that we can’t even use in hardcore. I understand opening crates is a gamble but at least give us an option for a guaranteed item that our toon can at least utilize. And maybe if y’all could tickle the drop rate a lil bit coz lately the crates gives no arcane unless its the guaranteed.

Yes please. It's hard when u spend 1200 -3000 plat for a guaranteed kraken that's not for ur hardcore character. My main character is hardcore. I ain't rich enuf to keep buying plat for gear that I can't use..and drop rate..u never get kraken unless u spend till the guarantee.

Yeah they should have been dropable since the beginning but it seems like they began to drop today.
Few people dropped them today.

Once I reached plat tier and had 4hours worth of elix used with not even a mythic looted, I concluded thats enough running event. The drop rates are pretty disheartening [emoji28]


Suggestions:

- A massive monarch chest with x3 pulls that uses legendary gear to craft it instead of epics.

- Adding on to above idea. A chest with even better rewards (maybe something similar to plat eggs? Up to you) that uses a piece of mythic gear as a component. This would help keep mythics valuable

- Instead of having chests drop loot, have the mini bosses drop loot.

What I liked:

- Elixirs reducing dmg was a great move, made running more bearable despite no loot.

- Tier rewards were also a good addition.

IMPORTANT REMINDER :
Still looking forward to the spike trap furniture since you said it might be possible to get it in before event ends.

This event is okay cuz its a long map with tons of mobs dropping atleast 1 essence per run. And 2 mins per run.
But other events wont be the same. Short maps which end in less than 30 secs. Its gonna be hard to get the energy to play event.

So I have actually lost gold from this event. Really sad because it was fun to play till the gold was nerfed. How stupid. Bought countless elexers just to get lv76 arcs (that nobody wants) and 81 myths (that everyone has) thank god I fought the urge to dump any real money in this dump game this month. There is no reason you should go backwards from playing. Whoever thinks that’s how you keep players is stupid. If I had burnt platinum to buy elixers I would just be out real money. Pretty dumb. Follow-up update: 500k+ points and still not 1 drop of any single kraken/force items with elixir every run (not that I'm complaining about it but hey what are the odds right). All the other 56, 66, 71, and 76 arcanes dropped but that was it and. Also honourable mention for zaarus drops as well.
