Hi,

As the game has progressed, abilities have become irrelevant (except a few). It's all about the procs of weapons, abilities do next to 0 damage.

Empowered Spells:

It would be cool that upon equipping level 86 arcanes/mythics, our abilities get empowered with a cooldown for the empowered version. Empowered versions of abilities replace the base version if they are available.

Examples for Mage:

Fireball: Upon casting empowered version, a toned-down version of meteor lands on the mobs nearby with much smaller radius.

Frost-bolt: Frost-bolt turns into "Absolute Zero". Upon casting "Absolute Zero", the sorcerer freezes everything around the user including terrains, bosses, mobs and landscape for 10 seconds (5 sec for boss). Allies gain movementspeed while on the frozen terrain and enemies are slowed.

Now for Spell Interactions:

Example for Mages: Casting fireball on a frozen target that's been affected with frost-bolt causes them to "brittle". Brittled targets lose all their armor and take damage over time.

Example for Rogue: Aimed shot now marks the target, the mark can be detonated with Shadow Pierce to deal 15% (5% vs bosses) of max health physical damage (reduced by enemy's armor)

Example for Warrior: Casting Vengencefull Blood after or before Juggernaut makes the warrior go in "Frenzy". While the warrior is in "Frenzy", it temporarily gains 15% ability haste and breaks the haste cap.

Skill revamp is our next major initiative outside of events now that the expansion is out.

-ALSIt would be cool to see inter-class spell interaction as well.

More than 4 spell slots as well as new spells would be refreshing to see after 10 years of same skills.
