Arlor Halloween 2023 | The Undead Never Die



Here's the thing about zombies...they tend to come back. And they've done just that this year. Necropolis is once more overrun with terrifying undead and it's up to you to stop it! Don't forget to pay a visit to Arlor's best haunted houses: Boogie's Mansion and the Oligarch's mansion for more tricks and treats!

This event begins Thursday, October 19th, at approximately 1:30 PM CST. It will run for three (3) spooky weeks, with a 3 day cooldown.

What's New



In addition to the event's new vanities, pets, etc...Keep an eye out for NEW Level 86 Mythic Armor and Helmet items in Locked Crates


Note: the new Star Beast Mythic Armor and Helmet will be part of a Level 86 Mythic Set that includes two (2) items that will be released in future events!

How it Works

The Halloween Event is an energy-based event. Spend energy points to enter the boss zone and defeat Necropolis monsters to progress through the event tiers and earn tokens to redeem for the Token Vendor's stash of Halloween goodies. Tiers and leaderboards will reset each week with a fresh opportunity to climb and collect new rewards.

You can get to Necropolis either from the main map or by talking to the Necropolis Gatekeeper.

Talk to Tommy Noggin after completing all of the Halloween quests (including dailies) to unlock a long-forgotten Title:

You will also find the portal to the Event Zone. This requires energy to enter:

Once inside you are prompted to purchase a Bane Item that will vastly help in this area. Past years' Bane Item will work here too:

Make your way through, cutting down enemies until you reach a final boss battle:

On occasion, defeating this boss will open a separate portal to one of two special Halloween event zones: Boogie's Mansion or the Oligarch's Mansion.

You must bring one 2022 Necropolis Candy Bag if you want the chance to visit these haunted houses.

Collect the Candy Bars that drop from mobs all around Arlor and craft them into Candy bags to open the way to the Boogie or the Oligarch's Mansion.

Oligarch's Mansion

The Oligarch is anything but hospitable. To reach him you'll have to wander the halls of his opulent mansion, avoiding traps that will damage, slow, and stun you, all while cutting down the zombie hoard that's taken up residence inside.

Defeat The Oligarch, and you'll receive The Oligarch's Bag 2023, a special event chest that has a chance to drop a whole slew of Halloween goodies. (List Below)

Boogie's Mansion ends on the Dance Floor, where you will do battle with Arlor's coolest ghost!

Energy essence drop rates have been the same for years now but the level cap has kept going up.

This means that for the best essence drop rate you *must* farm content that is your level (or higher if possible).

If you've been around for a while you'll know to go after content that is at or above your level.

For instance: if you are Level 80 and you're farming Level 20 content you're going to get the worst drop rate. On the other hand if you are Level 20 and you farm Level 20 content you'll get the best drop rate.

I think i found a reason, kt4 LB is showing the map as [56].

For example: Brakenridge Forest normal shows [11] and the elite version is 27. Im pretty sure that is the lvl indicator, not sure how it couldnt be.

@asommers have you guys even seen how cheap the last years mythic pendants [lvl 45 occult amulets] already are , at this point they are just like trash items [last year they got dumped into the economy in huge numbers], i would suggest you replace the mythic pendants drop with a level 50/30 mythic bracelet that gives 10-20% luck , that would actually be something new and exciting :)

Great looking vanities but auras are on a Mid tier level. Seems like the designer team is starting to lose their enthusiasm on designing the auras although i understand. They work hard on making them but seeing its price to go down makes them feel down as well and the main cause of its price to go low are these low baller/no lifer merchants who bugs all of the new aura sellers leading to a market crash.

My only advice these days is, buy auras to collect and selling it is just optional if you receive a nice offer. You work hard on your money, so you deserve a better offer. Don't let these no lifer merchants who doesn't even work in real life to get that aura of yours for a cheap price.

Pets designs are good, but the stats are underwhelming. Make sure that the stats are also not vague (put cooldown of aa timers and passive).

Top 50 rewards are good, top 25 are meh, and top 5 just unobtainable unless you sell your soul to STS and/or participate in sharing accounts to run 24/7.

And oh, top 5 rewards design is cool, but -1 for 0 effort the part you just recolored it for each week. Could have added something more different from the other except recoloring it.

Hmm I guess the Blood Rain Aura is just advertised on a wrong surrounding. It might look great if the surrounding that was used to advertise is has lighter colors in it. Maybe next time use 2 backgrounds to advertise a new limited time sale auras/vanities to see the item's full design

Make it first week plat reward for other weeks give us something different like

10-15 stash slots
Every week will make this even better .

İn my opinion only have weapon proc but weapons coming in winter event.like a zaarus set 4/4 set bonus and maybe this add %40 stat and %10-15 Critic damage

Good looking event, only lacks proper platinum tier rewards for w1/2/3.. maybe consider adding wings for each halloween vanity set that drops from lockeds.

As you can see the top players are worried about the heroics, have you looked at the normal versions for the average players? Pitiful. If you can buff the pets behind a paywall you can buff the free stuff for the masses( Before ppl respond, i can buy pretty much anything i want in game, i am merely trying to help the players who cannot...).

Why it is 50 primary stat and 50 int. Come why always mage? Warrior needs help of damage out come can you even atleast make it have + 60 primary stats and 50 str, dex and int.

Is it possible to change the pastel sea green to darker shade of green. The pastel sea green is bad and doesn't give the spook vibes at all... The hair too... Too bright...


the red one is the best, with the orange color along the folds of the armor, the waist belt and on the shoulder plate buttons(?). The shades go well with each other. This one is gonna be the most expensive one of the 3.

The violet ish one from week 3 has dull armor and the folds of the armor are not really highlighted with a color that goes along with the head and hands. And the color is too dull. dull compared to the red one. Same with the shoulder plate buttons and the waist belt, such a dull color. I think hair can be black too. The armor can be very light shade of brownish-red/maroon/wine red ish. And prominent maroon waist belt, shoulder plate buttons. Something thats not as dull as it is now (Attached a pic for reference of color shades. )

The pastel sea green one... bright. Atleast a darker shade of green. Or bluish green but dark shade would be better. The hair is too bright too. Black hair would do.. The should plate buttons need to be same color. I couldn't find good references for this. But please change this one too

As a mage main I can say that this ghost pet is unfair for war and rog - it's definitely the strongest happiness bonus right now and it has int, which favors mage."rog" and "war" pet are nowhere close to this pet in terms of stats.
Can you change all of these pets to +50 primary stats and +40 str/dex/int?
