Star for every kill floats to top of screen ????

With every kill I see a star float to the top of the screen. I don't remember ever seeing it before. Is it new? Why???

It means a mob kill/boss kill is adding up to your achievement progress

It is not new, you will see it for elite map APs you havent killed 1,000 mobs in.

It’s not 1,000 but 10,000.
