I was asked ingame if i wanted a free 600plats through ggamecchi or something. I told the guy hill ya, theen he asked for my email and password. I gave him a fake one that he would recognize is fake. I asked y anyone would give away free plat and he said he bought 2k and had 600 left over. I says thats really generous but im not gonna be generous and give awaymy acct.
So in short, dont give out ur email and pw

a person cant even give u 600 plat since it cant be traded to another person, so obvious its a scam like always
Actually this is the best "Beware of scam" thread I've seen. Ever. He didn't give any names. He didn't try to put anyone down. As far as I know, it's all within the ToS and it's as readable as it needs to be to get the point across. Props to you, new forumer.

i reported him iingame with /report player function. Sts ought to make a way to trade or even gift plat, i think alot of scamming would disappear with this mechanism

If plat was tradeable scamming would actually increase and instead of being scammed for fake game gold, they're technically scamming for real money from kids. This will never be an option for STS to implement. Plat and plat items will never be tradeable.

Every time I get those free plat messages, I just reply that I have 10000 plat already and don't need anymore. Or I enter the trade window.
