These are just some ideas I wanted to share. Feel free to discuss & reply with yours.
We had enchanted eye, paracelsus stone etc. Limited time item upgrade with powerful effect & cool auras. I think we need more of those in game every so often during events.
Devs could add them to the platinum tier reward/arcane drop from event bosses or even craftable with an event exclusive recipe bought with event tokens (expensive)to incentivize player to grind.
===========EXAMPLES===========
Crafting:
recipe:deathbringer's spinel (8000 necropolis tokens)
1 × noble lightning jewel
1 × noble chaos jewel
5 × spinel (uncommon event boss drop)
25000 gold
(limited to 1 per character, unlocks after plat tier) etc
Deathbringer's Spinel Effects :
+1.25 damage
+ damage/damaged chance to proc summon "deathbringer smite" red lightning strikes 4 enemy near you stunning them for 0.5 seconds & grants player 3% critical damage & 5% movement speed buff for 7 seconds, 25 second cooldown.
(OCCUPIES 1 UPGRADE SOCKET, MULTIPLE GEMSTONES ON SAME OR DIFFERENT EQUIPMENT PIECES DO NOT STACK)
Visual effects :
Idle: none (I don't have idea for this)
Proc: red lightning strikes enemy, afterwards your player leaves a reddish glowing afterimage while proc is active.
