Everybody in my guild is saying that they see on facebook that there will be a new race/character. They said that it would be and alligator, or a tiger. Is this true. I would really like for a dev to elaborate on this matter. Thanks

Sorry Noperly, unfortunately there is no evidence for this, nor do I think any new classes will be implemented in the future.

No there is no new characters coming out as this would totally crush pvp. Maybe they were referring to Halloween costumes where there is alligator costume u can rent.

The next class will be an assassin (high dps, low damage, low armor, high dodge) and is said to be a lizard.

No. Assassin lizard is next, expect it in 3-4 months (that's 6-7 years in dev-time).

It's a Dev character. They can look like anything they want. Flip, a Dev who sadly isn't with sts anymore, used to have his character look like an alligator/lizard as well.
So unless you actually see a Dev post in forums that there will be a new race/class, it's a rumor.

I've already confirmed that the new class won't be new at all. The devs have promised me they are bringing back the oyster class (which was one of the original classes).
