Yeh, black dragon items can be converted to vanities but do not yet expect an awesome set bonus.
It has been said numerous times that STS wants to make their vanities in a way in which the vanities are not statted. This will most likely end up with a similiar kind of solution as was made with the elite vanities.
Yet again, turning dragon items into rings has many problems with the most difficult one is that it would make numerous merchers and/or endgamers mad as dragon sets lose their value since elite rings would most likely be superior to dragon rings. Not to mention how the ring change would be committed. Swapping dragon gears with friends/guildies so everyone can have an elite ring? Unlikely to happen since support would overflow with "omg my dragon set got stolen as I loaned it to my friend plz refund plz".
Wait and see.. I am just going to farm for lvl 75 sets until there is a confirmation what will happen to dragon sets.
