Open plan house deed

Just wondering , while it is an open house deed why does it still have like borders in the house where I have to leave from door . I think it would be sm nicer if there wasn’t “ invincible walls and the door to leave from “ just an open ground yk! Please fix that

It is called "open plan" but still enclosed by invisible walls that you cannot leave the base without tapping the door. The door is also invisible and hard to spot, as well. What is the point then calling it "open plan" if it is enclosed by boundaries in the first place?

It would also give so mush more flexibility for building , to make houses or buildings from scratch giving al building a new spark !!

Hello, i was wondering if could be possible adding a feature for this house where we can modify floor colour by purchasing it from a vendor for gold, exactly like for example it happens for the skin tones of our characters. It would make so much more pleasant the style since is hard to find good solutions to match walls and floors. I tried with the new blocks but then the feet vanish inside of them. If this could be added would be so great. Ty in advance

Tbh even if something like this gets implemented, I would suggest keep it as an option in the house settings because some would prefer it with those barriers .

Why would anyone rly want borders to an invincible house xd ? I understand why it is on other houses .. cuz they have walls that make it realistic ! I really think everyone who wants to develop new housing ideas would love it without the invis walls .. gives them the flexibility to develop everything from scratch. These ideas only for the open house !

These ideas only for the open house !I think the original plan with the open house deed as per what was said in the preview was giving people the ability to add their own custom floors and custom walls designs , and people who prefer building a wall based background would much rather prefer the borders .

Having an option to turn the borders on / off in settings would be great , but now after releasing and people making their decisions to building their houses, it's kinda unfair to suddenly change it completely , I also would like a open house concept without borders, but i am just saying that it should just be an option in the settings.

Yeah 100% agree with you , the option to enable or disable it would work perfectly in this situation!

I Think the floor should be seperated entirely from the houses. Would be cool to mix and match the floors. We could also have a large floor tile object that we would be able to place at the lowest area to replace the flooring. Might be nice to mix a match flooring in different parts of the house

We're not going to change the open plan, but I'm considering future updates to housing to allow you to place 8x8 floor tiles in any arrangement you want.
