Angels of the Apocalyspe - Survival Challenge

You like BLOOD? You like VIOLENCE? You just like KILLING in general? Well so do we, so come take the Survival Challenge.

Challenge goes as follows. Samarah will choose a level on a dark legends map. Your job is to slaughter/kill all the enemies and final boss/bosses on that level without dying. You only get one shot at the map so make it count. Succeed in doing so while not using any elixir or help from either of the judges in map (yes we will be there watching and enjoying the carnage). Payouts are chosen by the A.O.T.A. member that invited you. Some levels may require a time limit to finish due to higher pay outs. Everything is negotiable . Of course if you die you pay us what was agreed upon before starting the map. All this is for fun so treat this challenge as such. You may use blood packs throughout the map, and if you get a drop you keep it. After a successful run stop and take a pic with the judges in map so we can post here. We will do our best to keep a running total of finishers and non finishers. So far looks like 6 have made it and 4 haven't. So see any A.OT.A. member in game and ask 2 take the challenge. Tell them Castdown sent yah . Be patient we may not be able to accept all applicants all in one day but we will do our best. All A.O.TA. members reserve the right to not participate in this challenge, so respect thier choice if they refuse when you ask.

As of right now Qingsanale1 Sam and myself are running the challenge. As time goes by other A.O.T.A. members will be more involved. We are still in the early stages of this event, but from feedback of participants everyone is enjoying this challenge alot :encouragement:. Anywho to answer your question about waiting for sam. You don't have to, but to keep everything legit I would make sure atleast sam or myself is in map with you. Thanx for playing we all have had a blast with all of our participants.

If Cast or myself are on just pm one of us and we will set it up. Obviaiously i would rather do it when both of us are on so we could have two officials presant ... plus it lightens the load when we have to dish out rewards. Cast is also better at taking screenshots and getting level started.

Its also nice if we have plesant minded contestants that appreciate the idea, challenge, amd effort that goes into this. Regardless of win or lose, it is a challenging event, and i believe it adds another fun dimension to dark legends aside from ctf, dm, and pve. Looking forward to hosting u in a AOTA Survival Challenge.

It was super fun, i had my heart pumping super hard the first aggro and i thought i was dead, i got 500 blood packs and only used about 12-28 i forgot. But it was super fun to run it with a nervouse spine. Oh i won the first time lol

You will be granted the opportunity to take the test based on your level; loyalty to our guild; and/or your involvement on these STS forums. Any officer reserves the right to conduct, forward, or decline your request to do the test.
Promotional Survivor Challenges will ONLY take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of each week. Interested contestants are required to post in this thread (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?63647-A-O-T-A-Angels-Of-The-Apocalypse-Guild-Recruiting) or the survivor challenge (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?72436-Angels-of-the-Apocalypse-Survival-Challenge) thread of their intent to do the test.
No guild member below level 28 may take the test due to Dark Legend's player zoning requirements.
Conducting officers have the authority to dictate the rules of test (ie. no weapons, blood packs, etc).
if SUCCESSFUL you will be granted officer status within our guild; if UNSUCCESSFUL, you will be granted another opportunity to retake the test at a later date (usually one week later).
To maintain your officer status, you must remain active/visible in our guild by playing consistently, leveling, and being vocal/helpful to all members. Failure to do so may result in a future demote back to recruiter status.

Cas was one of the angels that fell for Zachariah's lies and thought he was suppose to stop the seals from being broken. Cas didn't know the truth until 4.20 The Rapture and he was going to tell Dean, but Zachariah and others took him (leaving just his vessel, Jimmy Novak). Cas experienced some of "heaven's persuasion" and so kept quite until 4.22 Lucifer Rising when he decided to finally tell Dean the truth about Lilith being the final seal.

Hey Qing! Depends on who's judging you from our guild: cast, day, or myself. If it's me, I usually say to unequip weapons (similar to godlike rules). Plus my payout is 5K if someone wins, and 5k to me if someone losses. I can't afford to run survival challenge with so many good players out there, lol. If its just for promotion to officer within our guild, then no payout or payin.

Yes, but they would have to wait til level 28 to take since it is conducted by a senior level 31 officer from our guild that conducts these tests due to zoning requirements of game. Also its not highly favourable to take at level 28 cause enemies in level are scaled up to level 31 difficulty. Best chances to past test are if you are at level cap, otherwise the challenge is much more difficult.

Not everyone passes on their first try to. And we are at a point with number of officers where we will not honor everyones requests to do the test unless we have vacancies in officer spots or increase in number of guild members. The opportunity will be granted for those that are in guild for a long time, or those that we feel are active on sts forums.

Love to, but due to zoning requirements, the game will not allow the test conductors (level 31 players) to be in the same level as you.
