2 questions; 56 bear

Hi. I would like to start off by thanking apollo, noodleleg. A week or two ago i posted here in pvp section how to build a 56 bear and you two responded right away with help. I recently moved up from lv17 to lv 56.

I am pretty good at it. It was a good change. Anyway besides me being a bad ace bear ;) . I have one last question pertaining to the 56 bear.

I have obtained strongman mace set and big top mace set.
I find i so better with the big top all around versus any build and any class/race. I think its due to the dodge it gives. Anyway what is your guys opinion in using either big top or strongmans mace sets, and why it is you prefer either one.

My answer is big top cause of dodge. But strongmans is very close in stats and you get some bad ace purple smoke+sparkles.

My second question is this.

Pertaining to the 56 bear, I prefer Strongman. I choose it over BT at first because of the epic sparkles. :)

However, I've found several things better on SM than with BT: Namely, damage. I'm hitting over 100 with auto on other str bears. OP? I think so. Also, regeneration. Since I have a tendency to kite a bit, this comes in handy quite often for me. As you mentioned, the stats that BT does surpass SM in, is not by much, so I find using all BT somewhat pointless, unless you need to save in money. :) Honestly, though, I think the Royal + BT set is better than full BT. Might wanna check on that.

BT. Hit% and dodge% cause you to beat any strongman bear out there. You can't hit high if you can't hit period. ;)

RS/BT is better than RS/SM.
RS helm/plate and BT mace/shield.

That used to be the optimal setup, providing 100hit with min str, hit ring and hit face.

However to use the BT bunny which boosts armor by quite a bit more str is required. So I switched to 3 BT pieces (bunny, mace, armor) and 1 RS piece. Using a hit face will get you to 100%, so you can even use a 8 armor 2 dodge ring.

Also keep in mind hit% does not stop at 100. A Hellscream or blind shot will bring you down to 70. Personally I would go full big top with the bunny. SM works great only for birds. High damage is useless if you can't even land a hit.

Lol. I've never run into hit % problems using SM. Only dodge problems.

K guys... Here's what you need to do... Try to land beckon. If you can't, RUN LIKE YHELL :O!!! If you do, hit shouldn't be an issue lol... Hit is for landing beckon in my opinion. Beckon, debuffs, and bam auto win! Unless you're fighting a phatty :)
