The devs said that they might bring the android costume back at some point for a contest, but it would have to be a huge contest

The Android costume might make a return as a contest reward, but it will have to be a whopper of a contest and connected with an Android theme.

It's pretty rare, don't think Spacetime would give them to anyone.
Personally, I'd love it to return.

They might give them out, but they would only give out an extremely small number as rewards for giant contests. If everybody had a droid costume, everybody would wear it instead of other vanities and everybody would look the same. It also would be harder to distinguish devs from regular players
