This one is not for the faint of heart, as in, it's tuned for Level 86 Legends with high level gear.

Corvis the Golden, a powerful necromancer, inhabits a parallel realm where no Arlorian heroes exist to stop him for capturing and enslaving lost souls! However, every thousand years, those realms intersect but for a moment--and Corvis has pierced the veil to reach through and begin enslaving the Arlorians that we all know and love.

NEW this year... some suspicion that Corvis' derelict deeds may be a distraction from an even bigger evil brewing on the Realm Weaver's Path...

Brave the onslaught of Corvis' Realmkillers within the Twilight Temple, and follow Gustav the Black's lead into the Realm Weaver's Path to protect Arlor and free the ailing souls!

How it Works

Twilight Temple

The Twilight Temple is a gauntlet style energy / leaderboard event and will run for 2 weeks (1/18 - 2/1) with a 3 day cooldown. To begin, visit the Restless Spirits in Windmoore who plead for your help. Enter the Scourging Grounds to face the gauntlet: endless waves of enemies, either Solo or with a Group, earning points and tokens for each enemy defeated and bonus points for time left on each wave's 60 second timer.

Collect drops, spend tokens, craft, and climb the leaderboards to collect new vanities, titles, badges, and more.

This event is open to Legends Level 71+ - but beware, The Twilight Temple is very difficult and best for high level and well-geared adventurers. In response to feedback on last year's Twilight Temple event we increased the base level monster stats significantly and also increased the monster stats per wave (by 2x) so OP groups don't wind up spending hours and hours in the Scourging Grounds!

Note: Only your HIGHEST SCORE will count on the Leaderboards! This is not a 'point accumulation' event. Only the highest score you achieve in the "Scourging Grounds" will count towards your Leaderboard Rank. Also: Leaderboards will not reset mid-event and will run for the full 2 weeks!

Realm Weaver's Path

Visit Gustav the Black in Windmoore to learn of the true threat that has emerged...the Realm Weaver's Path. Legends of any level can enter the Realm Weaver's Path, defeat the Lich's vicious minions and the dreaded Realm Weaver!

For an added challenge, follow in Gustav's footsteps and light the torches along the path to summon additional boss monsters in the final encounter. Bosses drop gold, loot, and have a chance to drop select recipes for unique event vanities.

Note: you do not earn event points by defeating monsters in the Realm Weaver's Path. This area has been added in response to player feedback and is provided for you to collect tokens and loot (only) without the crushing time limit of the Scourging Grounds or the intense difficulty.

Banned Elixirs

To create a fun and fair event, Fish Oil Damage Elixirs and Dark Apostle Bombs can not be used inside the Twilight Temple's "Scourging Grounds" gauntlet scenario. If you have an Fish Oil elixir active before entering, the effects will be negated while inside.

You get opened portals almost everyday (ekenta/rahab/ezg/hedo). Not everything has to revolve around gold loot. There's no fun in that, if you're not interested in running the event, you're always free to go back to farming gold.

event is not yet starting but it's starting to get some bash in it. There's a non LB mode this time and i really hope that its all level friendly where everyone will be happy. i have some friends who came back to the game last week and they're still not maxed cap yet

Would be cool for the non LB mode to have a "fair" amount of gold loot drop in it so that some of the returning players can also advanced a bit as well

I'm lovin' that shadowbound aura. i wonder how we can get the wisp of it? Is it a premium drop where you need to use a farmer elixir kit for it?

and yeah some of the LB badges aren't so great but the badge is acceptable. and still there's no star beast weapon. i feel like this expansion will last for 3 years since the Kraken Gears just set the bar too high.

Most of the stuff aren't even themed. The badges/banners are basic stuff you'd expect from Halloween with the go-to skeleton things. Last year had appropriate rewards such as the voriyana badge. Lb rewards disappointing as well, wth is that top10 badge.

Very disappointing LB rewards, not even BOUND vanity set or halo or aura or weapon.. nothing.. only a banner from last event with removed color. Same as the last few temples. I guess nowdays temple is just a filler event. Might as well remove from the game and give us event worth playing lb on.

The only good thing is Group T10 Badge, gj on that :)

Absolutely! STS have time to add something bound or not to the t10 rewards that would merit the absurd main stat awaken roll rates that we just endured. On arrange i was using 500-800 elite gems per item to roll 7%+
I will add that alot of the recent sets have been well received. Onni, Frost, Polar....but all that traction is gone now thanks to the below image

the Death Mist Portal aura looked much better in the last week's teaser than in this preview
the flames seemed much taller and the red color seemed much more intense
i really hope it's the gif's and the lighter background's fault
because if it looks like this instead of what was shown in the teaser i won't be buying it

The Leaderboard Rewards are not trade-friendly but you can stash them. Titles, Badges, etc.

The event Vanity Armor, Helmet items (that you craft from looted recipes and components) are trade-friendly.

Scourging Grounds awards event points for those who want to collect the amazing Leaderboard rewards.

Realm Weaver's Path is for lower level players, and characters who lack the gear required to withstand the Scourging Grounds gauntlet.

If you dont like it, dont play it. The event is fine as it is. Some of us actually find these vanities really nice and worth the time. At least the lesser people farm it, the more profitable it will be for those who do.
