Halloween items

Has anyone tried seriously playing with Halloween items in pvp? I use my pink 15 paw and bracer on my mage and it works beautifully. Anyone got success with the chunker and such?

OMFG! At 15 the reaper and cage add like 40+ damage to skills! I was ownin with that!

Will be respeccing to str later to see if the blade and bone cage make for a viable warbird; with the requirements, forg bow may still be equipped. The chunker is illmatic.

Edit: So on my 36 bird, I have 17 dodge and 17 crit. Gf.

I have to say, that's the worst logic I've seen. How is more choices for weapons a bad thing? Sure, it would've been better if the bows would've been taken out or nerfed, but jeez. Adding more choices is better than nothing.

I applaud the new diversity of weapons, but now they need some base items and pretty fast... All these discontinued items won't do much good for the noobies down the road. Plus a bit more armor would be nice, not that I like having high stats at low level. If I have to choose from high damage and no armor or high damage and high armor, ill pick the lesser evil (the second).
The old Xbow had a chance against the f bow before, this one kind of wrecks them. It's funny how thing change, now bears are kiting and birds are running in... Still waiting on that increased armor techno, and I suggest you make it a farmable item that is fairly hard to get so it has some kind of value to it.

I agree fully about the armor. I also think there should be a farmable version of the finesse 15-19 xbows with only slightly lower stats than the chunker :)

How do you even find out the procs, people say theres a proc in the FB but I dont see it in the description.

When you use them. FB has a hit debuff. The scythe gives weakness, I think. Broom the same. Besides that.. None I've seen.

Has anyone else noticed a splash damage proc with pumpkin chunker? It seems like sometimes my auto will splash and explode the barrels in the map, and also the splash I noticed did little damage. Or do the mobs explode in that map sometimes?

Its just like the Forgotten bow, its like the impact, the proc for the bow is the yellow stars thingy so probably the pumpkin chunker is the same thing

it is really hard to kite cuz somehow they can hit u as you run back. The paw is great against talon and duck and noobs but fbows still win 8/10 times. The proc
for fbow is what is deadly. When you hit with paw, it hits HARD. But you have to hit them. When it doesn't, well ur screwed. -51 dps when you use paw vs fbow (lv 15) and +17 armor. Is paw worth it against fbow?

They're better to keep mages from being squishy. Bears should stick to f bows or x bows. Xbows are better if you know how to use them.
