Freda, a student at the Temple of Knowledge, discovered an ancient blueprint of Windmoore, indicating that a crypt exists deep below the city street. This crypt is said to hold treasures untold. Halos, weapons, and even pet eggs.

Unfortunately, treasure was not the only thing they discovered...

How to Play

NEW To enter the path to the crypt below the streets of Windmoore, craft a repair kit using building materials, which will be commonly dropped all around Arlor during the event (similar to energy essence).

You can also purchase a kit directly at the portal for quick and easy access.

Brave the undead-infested halls of the Mortarax Crypt to collect event exclusive items and crafting components for event rewards.

Quests

The Halo Hunters Event has 3 successive story quests, ending with Pina's The Eternal Web quest. Make sure to complete it to unlock a brand new Arcane Pet Egg recipe, and unlock the ability to loot its crafting components within the crypt.

Once complete, visit Freda for a daily quest with additional rewards.

Make sure to complete Pina's questline, "The Eternal Web" to unlock the recipe for:

+ Arcane Spider Pet Cryptareth

+ And, a special upgraded Ghost of Cryptareth, which can be crafted using Cryptareth's egg, plus 3 others (Mythic, Legendary, and Epic).

Take on the the Arachnid Sorceress "Mortarax" herself, to collect:

+ The Shooting Star Halo recipe, which will craft a revolving meteorite that leaves a cosmic trail as you run.

+ The Mortarax Badge

+ The Mortarax Dark Omen crate (1 pull) (see loot below).

+ Ancient Chamber Chest (free to open! Contains currencies and Crypt Treasure Keys).

+ Rachnarus Legendary Weapons (for levels 1-29, 30-54, 55-85)

+ Crafting Components

Don't forget to open the chests and coffins in the area for:

+ The Massive Dark Omen Crate recipe, to craft your smaller crates into the large one (3 pulls).

+ Crypt Treasure Key*, used to craft Locked Dark Omen Crates into Unlocked Dark Omen Crates (1 pull).

+ Mortarax the Vile Entrance Furnishing

Plus, keep an eye out for mini-bosses, who can drop:

+ Arcane pet crafting components.

+ NEW Shattered Vanity Weapons (Bow, Staff, and 2H Hammer) (Rare spawn mini-bosses only - be sure to talk to Pina)

It's open to all levels!

Solo is a bit challenging at Levels under 10 but totally possible. As with the Realm Weaver's Path we tested our low level characters using the free Advancement Pack gear, base Pets and no jewels or elixirs.

Ghost of Cryptareth HB offers a trade off compared to Cryptareth: more damage, less defense.

You can loot the components to craft Cryptareth the Arcane Crypt Spider.

Once you have Cryptareth's Egg (or if you already have the Egg) you can choose to craft it into "Ghost of Cryptareth," which offers higher damage but at a cost of defense.

Those are the only Pets that you can craft during this event.

Can the crafting time of the cryptawreth egg be lowered to like 3 days? Because the cryptawreth shadow egg requires one of these to make it. So the event will be over before your first cryptawreth egg is done or you are going to have to use a ton of speedups?

Developers, I would like to thank you for your effort and I ask you to please consider this suggestion: Stop doing filler events, use the resources you already have, the updates help keep the game alive, but since you've nerfed all of Arlor, all of life, and the farm, all of the old items, it makes them need to create new things all the time, Let people wait, let people get surprises at events, I'm not saying don't make new content like halos, or new pets, I say take your time and don't overwhelm us or saturate yourselves.

Idk if you noticed but you get more damage and less dmg reduction. It's a trade off.. if you want more damage use the ghost if you want more dmg reduction use normal crypt. Also the ghost has 5% more dmg reduc for the passive.. and longer AA.

Imo it should be like sleepy halo size would be perfect this one is 2x thicker if not 3x texture look nice and it’s missing some shining effects

Why the interest in ridiculous recipes? Farming and paying to craft energy was painful enough.Lemme predict. Entry items will drop in an unbalanced numer. Same for vanity items. That bow was a very predictable underwhelming style.
