One: does the super gem effects lifesteal work in pvp??

Two: when it’s upgraded and you remove it from slot do you still keep it or does it go away? Since it’s no longer a jewel?

Lifesteal proc doesn't work in pvp as far as I've noticed.
Soulbinders is a jewel, so it won't be destroyed, when taking it out of an item. However, it doesn't remain a soulreaper jewel, but a normal soulbinder.

does soul binder jewel have any visual fx? what does it look like?

The normal version doesn't, the soulreaper version has glowing green eyes effect.
