I dunno if it's the same for the claws or for any plat weap from a pack. But here. Haven't tried it yet for PVP, though.
claws are better statwise

two handed weapons never seemed fast enough in pvp. Only good one is that one that stuns, otherwise, blah.
yeah i dont like the 2 handers for that reason. too slow.

Depends on your taste :-) that's relatively good stats for a two-hander. Would be nice in ctf if you enjoy using them
