This may be a dumb question but if your an archer and u switch to a pure str build will you get str drops?

I doubt it, but I could be wrong.
The mechanics make more sense that it would be class specific and not build specific.

It makes it so only things that you can use drop. If you are pure strength bird you will get st drops.

It drops to the stat you have more base attribute points to so in your case you will get strength drops.

Incorrect. You get it based off your highest base attribute.
So a bird, it ask str w classy looter will get all str drops.

It may still drop something to your NON dominant stat as long as you could equip it.

I tried messing with it, the highest stat whether it's all str or split str/dex gets you whichever is highest. Even if it is just by one.

Not quite. As a bird I can loot a staff as long as it has no requirement.

This is the zebra I speak of. It does not allways work that way. If u take any lv 10 toon into kill smack-o , you may receive ANY drop as the lv 10 stuff has no stat requirement. I've done this in the forgotten map when those items had no stat req. at lv 10. My pure dex bird got staffs this way.

Thanks for covering all ends. Jic another event like that occurs or some lvl 10 buys classy looter and goes to that dungeon .

^ that's how I found out, heheh. I collect, but only dex, so I like this "classy" tho it need to be renamed. I guess; the elixir that doesn't drop stuff you can't use" is a bad name also.

I have a bear, but I'm a dual dex/str build with slightly more dex, and when I used the classy looter elixir a few times back when we had the forgotten dungeon, I got a bow every time.

This is akin to- I didn't kill mistress and got pinks.
As a pure dex bird, in forgotten, I received a staff while on classy (no stat req. then). Stats don't dominate the effect, drop tables do.
