For those "whining" about not getting to play or worried about people getting to keep their names: get over it. they have the plat, let them do as they wish. I reserved...quite a bit of names so i'm not worried.

Didnt mean it as offical beta, as beta was probally closed like ely said. What i meant is this release to Canada and Australia is like a beta test.on live server.....Its officially called limited release and it is to test the stability and finish ironing out any bigs, which to me sounds like beta. Not true. In previous public betas they only allowed Verizon android users for the first few days to test the servers with a heavier load.

Thanks for posting Gundamsone! From what you just posted it sounds to me like this is the most true Mmorpg that they have made yet. Impossible bosses, little or no health pots, gear that drops on the ground, etc. are all how true mmorpgs are supposed to be. I like the sound of this game alot!

They did wipe kills and refunded plat. Leaderboards were a major reason. Also, guild integrity are at risk if this is not just a "testing" phase. Many of the well-known guilds could be "forged" causing STS headaches I hope it does not want.

Also, pinks and purples did not drop in SL beta. Thus, the economy wasn't affected like it could be now.

Makes no sence to have a limited release with a wipe so u all know no dev has said anything about a wipe and pllat sales are. Going on as we speak all u have to do is. STS has given users the option to reserve their name. I guess they should have let guild GMs have the ability to pay plat to reserve a guild name.
But if you think about it logically, in a sense it's just another game completely unrelated to the other legend games. Arcane legends will and probally have attracted a whole wave of players who have previously no experience with another STS game. Is it unfair for these new players to "steal" someone's name/guild? when they have no idea in the first place.

I mean even in games made by Blizzard let's say, those who purchased Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3 could not reserve their names from the previous games.

What STS has done is fair, and I don't think there is a need for a rollback and potentially angry customers.

If they rollback within the next few days that's excusable, but if it's been a few weeks then there's no excuse to rollback.
If STS believed this would be a major concern for most players, then they would not have had a limited early release.
If anything blame STS and not the players because if it were you, you would probally do just the same and take a rare name for yourself weather or not you know it belongs to someone else from another Legends game.

Someone should go back in time and tell that to the devs before they wiped all kills and deaths and refunded plat back when SL went from beta to launch.

I didn't spend more than a few hours on DL. B/c clearing maps in DL was as fast if not faster than maps on PL.
I see no fun in games especially mmorpgs, when you clear a map in 1-2minutes just for drops/exp.
Each map in AL is actually taking me 30-50min + to clear alone. When with a party, the difficulty is increased greatly so it is not necessarily easier to troll a map with more people.
Bosses do take skill and strategy, b/c going in and hitting the auto button and spamming skills will get you killed.

*Spoiler*
The bosses in AL is nothing like PL/DL. In one map the final boss was a fireball mage that summoned a giant omfg 100x your size over 9000 power lvl ogre. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo huge and very intimidating. It took me around 10min+ to kill it using hit and run tactics. Couldn't finish off the mage after, had to invite a friend to help.

I do not get why people are stressing on names so much.
Sts let us reserve our names we want for plat.
So if u want a name that badly you should of already took this step to do so.
If your tryin to get a name you dont have already, why stress you wont get it?
Who knows the name you want, may been already reserved by a player already with plat, so it doesnt matter if you play now or later.
One thing sts should add besides reserving names is definitely add reserving guild names forsure, it can not be to hard if they already have a system to reserve names.
