Wow, some scammers are really stupid- this is an actual argument between a scammer and me from a few months ago
Scammer: Hi everyone, I work for STS
Me: Sure you do
Scammer: I know a way to get free platinum
Level 7: Cool how?
My PM to the level 7: Don't trust him it's a scam
Level 7 to me: No it's not
Me to level 7: Yeah it is watch
Me to scammer: So how does it work?
Scammer: I am a janitor at STS
Scammer: I was sweeping the floor beside a programmer
Scammer: I watched him program a cheat
Scammer: Make sure you don't take any gear out
Scammer: It works better if you have better gear
Scammer: It works better if you give me money too
Scammer: All I need is your account info
Needless to say, nobody wanted to-the level 7 was dissuaded almost instantly. There was more but I forgot it, it went on for almost half an hour with the lies getting so crazy I was laughing too hard to type.
