Elite Rahabkor and Hedourah CURRENT META?

Hi, old player here back on mage char trying to figure out the best item set, skill build and fighting strategy for elite Rahabkor and Hedourah bosses.
I can't afford star beast gear I'll just put that out.

Kraken Gun vs Kraken Staff, which is better?

How do these weapons' procs work exactly ? Do I need to switch gear with hotbar loadouts mid fight/mid proc or am I just fine sticking to the same loadout?

Which skills are good into these bosses? Heal and curse right? Arcane shield?

Which pet AA is the best vs bosses right now?

For hedo you need SB gear so for E rahab you can get by with kraken gun then switching to a dmg set... can go with smugg + zaa armor helm and free belt as a budget. Pet aa - h sabra/h neigher/ l sabra/ groucho/ etc. Skills - curse, lightning, clock, fireball/ice, etc.

Hyperos can still do a ton of damage to bosses, so I think after krakem armor staff has higher priority.
H sabra is probably the best most affordable aa
