Which is better for pve/farming mage or rogue?

Mage has pretty insane aoe esp with rusk gun. Rog is lacking that.
With a good loadout they do near equal damage at bosses.
With rog ulti u can take down bosses asap while mage ulti can absolutely nuke aoe wise
Tank can do anything and is hands down the best class.

Rogs lack survivability, while mage and tank have invulnerability skills.

Mages have aoes that is good for proc weapons, but literally 0 dmg.. idk what others talk about, rogues have aim shot aoe which is op, in gaunt i struggle clean my room 6/6 star beast + rusk gun 86, while rog 3/6 sb do it faster and easily. At higher waves i cant even clean, rogues do it, anyways both classes good.Also mages lose its efficacy if there are more than 1 mage in team, mage is good mostly because of curse, means that more than a mage is going to be not that great, noticed it when we all mages in hedo bp struggle sometime, you can feel it.

Mages have a shield and this helps a lot to reduce damage and stay immortal for 3 seconds. The last maps are difficult and have pools that take away your armor.

Do you have gold to buy equipment anyway?

This may help you decide. Look at the prices of Kraken items with bad awakenings. And look at the price of Star Beast with good awakenings. The Kraken's proc stacks with the full Star Beast proc.
