View Full Version : Can haste be applied immediately for on-going cooldowns?

Hi,

I'll try to explain this as good as I can.
Right now any increase in haste after a skill has been used does not affect the cooldown speed of that skill. The steps to reproduce it would be like this:

1. say we have 0 haste
2. we use a skill that has long cooldown
3. we proc some gear that grants us more haste
4. the cooldown of the previously used skill does not speed up. It will only work on next usage after the cooldown has been finished. Here is the thing, I would expect the skill cooldown to speed up immediately after being granted more haste.

So my question is can you let haste changes speed up/slow down active skill cooldowns in "real-time"?

Thanks

You mean instead of reducing the cooldown for example 50% haste on 40secs cooldown will reduce the cd to 20secs, make it so that the cd timer speed up 50% faster when you have haste? I think how haste works currently is better.

This has always been like this. Plan skill usage out, its a pain to code that into the game. What if the haste wears off? Then does the skill go back to its original cd?
