Hi! Really new!

I am really new and this might be a dumb question but.....

When running around some of these places there is little balls of light....I have seen green and blue. What are those? I am just curious if they have some kind of purpose other then distracting those of us so easily distracted.

I am playing during slow times and work and I am all about grouping!

I think those are part of the story line. I didn't really pay much attention to it though :p.

if you read the quest before you start the game it says you need to get the orbs from the evil guy whatever his name is and thats them ... its just to make you feel like your doing something like a quest instead of just mindlessly killing =)
