I don't know what the heck to buy for my rogue, why is this so hard nowadays?!

Combo sets?, Proc + Damage loadout? Why can't we just have good gears like back on Duggars, Ebon?

I have the budget to buy those sets "Meta" but I don't know how to use them or buy them.

I understand brother. The game is just not like it use to be. I do personally understand and know what to buy but if a person leaves for a while and returns it is a bit overwhelming. I don't play alot anymore but anything I can help you with I will. My game name is the same as on here.

It's overwhelming and I've been playing for years. So many sets and all the switching around.
I just stick with kraken for now.

I buy one good set, I wear it for everything, my speed is in my awakes and if I don't have some special kind of gear that is mandatory to play a map... I don't play that map. When im not running Im standing on the beach, sometimes selling/buying/trading. Sometimes standing there just watching the people go by or talking to a friend. I try really hard to help those in need and I am not a bit concerned with what gear someone tells me that I should buy. Not because I am being mean about it but just because Im not going to chase the uncatchable carrot. Kick back, log in and have some fun.

Just my worthless 2 cents on the matter.

The game can be played by using only 1 set or 2. You will need a party to play with if you do that 1-2 sets because your damage won't be anything crazy but you can still do maps.
Imo the 4 sets is mainly if you are looking to be maxed out, if you want to solo hedourah in 50 seconds or be able to solo elite rahabkor lb mode or solo elite zodias gauntlet type of power. Destroy elite rahabkor's entire hp bar in 3 seconds.

Thanks Chiiwawa and Encryptions. I thought I was a failure because I don't use all the sets. I managed to do the new additional maps with the necessary sets needed for the quest, gave the lost expedition set away afterwards and the other is somewhere in my messy stash.
I'm fine just using my kraken, helping lower levels and chatting awhile.
I did consider buying some platinum because the words "40% sale" are usually irresistible to me but sorry Devs, I can't get motivated. The Goblin event hasn't got my boat floating and most of my friends aren't playing either. It's very lonely ingame.
I can't justify spending my cash like I did just to log in and miss my ingame pals. 😞.
I'm glad the OP made this thread and hope he/she gets what they need.

Uber complexity is the reason I quit so many other games in the past. Things were much simpler in the past.
Our crafting station is a good example. Full of useless recipes that a newb shouldn’t waste resources on, ect.
Yah, all those sets. Especially the full 8 piece jobs.
