It doesn’t have any VFX until you get the rare 3% variant, just like with other stones :) also the VFX most probably looks like deathweaver’s gaze vanity, check it out.

I rather wonder if there actually is anyone with the rare variant of this stone. My bet is that there won’t even be any single one even after the whole week of the event.

The gem should have been made like this:
1. a guaranteed drop from lock pulls, rather than random non-existent drop.
or
2. Removeable. Just as Soulbinder’s jewels.
or
3. Normal version of the gem should have the same abilities as the rare one, just with slightly less stats/proc chance. Just like Hailstone.

One guildy did get the 3% upgrade awake.. it looks like a tawny gaze ig
But the price of the stones and their rarity is unrealistic
And truth to be told, since last winter event drop rates from lockeds are just a joke
