Yesterday I started thinking as a new player, and I asked myself these questions. What really attracts me to the game if it were new player? Does finding empty maps motivate me to play? If I reach level 70, where do I get the money to buy arcane equipment?

I know there are prizes or well every 10 levels they give you legendary equipment and some positions.

But if instead, better rewards are given. It's Al, where the magic is, a great story. As a new player if at level 20 they give me an arcane weapon (bound) obviously With a great proc, an effect, shine. It would motivate me to play and continue leveling up. Discover what next great reward they are going to give me. Maybe an arcane helmet? I feel that the game should motivate and engage those who come to the game from the first moment, and make it as easy as possible to reach the goal, which is 86. And that is where you really decide what to do, or maybe in your way decide what to do. If the rewards are improved with really good things, that would also be a plus. It's about selling the game and making it attractive.

I also thought about a mini battle pass for whoever reaches AL, where at each adventure and mission they claim their rewards. Believe me it would be something very nice.

I have been playing AL for 11 years and I would like to try to help someone who helped me for so many years with fun and distraction from such an everyday life.

It makes me a little sad to see the situation of the game, how opaque it is becoming, and to see the cities a little empty, and even to enter my guild and see 2 or 3 connected

The sad thing is the game never will be the same agian as it once was. Been playing since 2013 and the game has moved so hard away from its roots. I remember walking in Kraag and seeing someone with the Arcane Maul as a newbie(which was super rare) and pming that person like what is that weapon?? Never seen it before??

I feel like new players wont get experiences like that, as soon as their travel into town they get hit by Christmas lights from all the aura effects, vanity effects, etc.

Its also very hard to sell this game to gamers. "Oh the best gear u dont farm for. You spend your money on overpriced plat and use that to open lootboxes and thats where u get the best loot! Not by playing the game but buying plat". Events dont count since those are limited time. Im purrly talking about the main game here. Also gold farming is a no go. Is it really that exciting to farm gold when you want the actual item to drop?

Dont get me started on how Arcane legends has turned into Vanity legends as this point.

Sorry for bombarding your post like this, but reading your post really brought thr nostalgia i have for the game and hoe disappointed/mad i am that it ended up in this state.

+1 I've lost my main account and tried to make a brand new account without anything, it's really tough and I'm still lv 7 because I don't have any motivation to keep playing

Plat Legends, I remember back when the equipment was worth grinding when expansions like Tindirin came out and it was a whole new experience. |

Now everything is only sets, sets, and more sets, and loot drop rates are like 0.0000000000000001%, I always see the same names in all cities, and if you see a new player, there's a 99% chance that is an Alt from an end game player. GG.
