Subject: Feedback from a Long-time Arcane Legends Player
Dear Arcane Legends Development Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I have been an avid player of Arcane Legends since 2013, and it has consistently been my favorite online game. Over the years, I've witnessed the game evolve from its early stages to its current form, and I appreciate the tremendous effort put into creating engaging maps, new proc systems, and sets that have undoubtedly enhanced the gaming experience.
However, as someone who has closely followed the game's development, I have noticed a few critical elements that seem to have diminished over time. I would like to share my observations and suggestions with you, focusing on four key aspects from a gamer's perspective: Time, Skill, Payment, and Reward.
In the early days of Arcane Legends, there was a direct correlation between time and skill with rewards. This balance made the time spent in the game highly rewarding, encouraging players to invest long hours and enjoy a satisfying experience. This period, especially around 2013, saw a strong retention of new gamers who enjoyed the challenge and reward system.
Currently, while the game has managed to retain many of its original players from 2013, there is a noticeable gap for new players. The time required to achieve substantial rewards has significantly increased, often necessitating the use of Platinum (plat). While long-time players who have grown with the game may invest in plat, new players find it difficult to maintain interest due to the game's shift towards a pay-to-win model. This shift has led to a decline in player engagement, as the sense of reward diminishes when progression is heavily tied to monetary investment.
Additionally, the introduction of the gold loot system has resulted in rapid gold generation, causing inflation that further discourages new players. To address these issues, I suggest the following:
1. Balance the Game: Ensure a fair balance between time, skill, and rewards, reducing the reliance on plat for progression.
2. Improve Graphics and Assets: Enhancing the visual appeal of the game can attract new players.
3. Launch New Advertising Campaigns: Promoting the game through targeted ad campaigns can help reach a broader audience.
4. Tackle Inflation: Implement measures to control gold generation and inflation, creating a more stable in-game economy.
5. Value Time and Skill: Emphasize the value of time and skill in the game, making these factors more significant than monetary investment.
I believe that by addressing these areas, Arcane Legends can reclaim its balanced gameplay and continue to flourish. Thank you for your attention, and I hope my feedback is helpful in making Arcane Legends an even better gaming experience.
Ps.
Unreal engine 5 will be great for entire game overhaul !!!
