I'm sure many have noticed bp is impossible now. The two parties i tried with both split and went back to farming Erahab. I'm 4k+ Dex, geared from weapon to bracelet and it's still impossible. I can understand the health buff, being most op party's could 1 proc him without phases but the shield is too long. Proc last 7-8 sec, unless were 4 tapping him this 2-4sec shield makes bp impossible. Unless this is how you've decided to block bp at this point Many rather farm Erahab for that easy 20sec run verse 40sec run and getting 20-40k more. In my opinion this needs some attention.

Hedo have the longer shield also in phase1.Pls fix it.
And in my opinion , the Hedo Shield (armor buff) have to be adapted to the Cooldown(Procs) because no one will run hedo when it takes to long time to kill. I can already see it.Hardly anyone Runs Hedo anymore and thats not the Intention.

It's my impression. I start by dealing a lot of damage and then a shield icon appears for the second time and my damage decreases.

Consider increasing Hedourah's time in part 3. He teleports too quickly when he has 1/3 of his health bar, I can't recover all my procs and AA.

With proper timing you can heap damage on Hedo and put him into his final phase. His mitigation self-buff was meant to train players into waiting... rewarding them with an opportunity to use powerful 'always proc' type attacks from our new weapons, etc. I don't see this as an exploit but a proper learning of Hedo's mechanics.

Accessing the zone, quest status, remapping, etc. doesn't have any relationship to Hedo's behavior, the mitigation buff period, or his "open for business" phase 2.

Why not just reset the shield like it was before and remove bp? Have his hp reset to x amount, its annoying to have to wait 15 seconds before you can even deal damage to him.

Also - and this info will be very important to my gold focused players - Elite Rahab and all previous elite boss gold drops will be nerfed significantly when Elite Elder Woods comes out. So do please farm them now while you can.

This inevitable gold nerf is also not going to be reconsidered either and you should see this friendly message from me as a helpful hint :-)

Same difference - if it takes 30 seconds w hp reset or 30 seconds w shield it’s the same deal / same gold farm complaint.

Good news is that now that we know the bypass fix is working we can move forward with Hedo loot buffs.

When elite hedourah coming?

It was obvious that these changes were going to be made, I knew that Raha is not going to last a lifetime. There is so much power in the game that raha is done in seconds and if it is for gold collecting, raha beats hedo.The good news and according to the dev, is that they do not open nerfs to raha, until the elite elder woods expansion arrives. And in part the community appreciates this, I am a farmer and P2P player. And raha is my favorite place. If any changes or nerfs are made to raha now, I think the downtime in the game is going to triple. Although there are new places like caves that seem interesting to me, although to many not so much.

So as the good @Cinco says, make the most of raha until the last minute. Its end has already been announced and is near.

Rusk weapons are event exclusive, they will not be released again for 1 year. The bio sets, on the other hand, will come out according to Assomers, but it is still uncertain in what event.

And I'm not the one who farms huge sums of Gold. Iam a p2p gamer and the hedo "mechanisms" to farm or bp was so funny that i spend lot of more money for plats to do hedo . And now it feels all my spends are worthless and i see no reason why i invest anymore .

And one is true : Whether with or without Hedo Bypass , Rahab give more Gold ;) and hedos gl was maximal the same amount.Not more . Except Ezg ;)

Nah. Keep it. Use it!

Just because Arcanes are coming doesn’t mean that Mythics are gonna be trash. If you’ve been active for the last few years you’ll note that Mythic and Arcane gears have retained most of their value. For instance: players still use 81 Mythics (and some even complain that they can still use 76 Arcanes - as if this were some sort of mistake) :-))

Sure, but there are still many players who can't afford to buy all kraken pieces for example, so they can't farm hedourah just like they won't be able to farm the new elite elder woods maps. What will happen to them? They will have to resort to farming zodias bosses and maps, but if that's gonna be nerfed even more then it might create a problem

They’ll be fine …and they will be OP soon enough.

Every player who sticks with AL eventually gets OP gears. It’s inevitable. The only way to avoid this is to simply not try. There are some who don’t try but they are rare. Most players actually play. And everyone who plays gets rich and good.

I’ve never been wrong when I put my faith in AL players to (eventually) wreck every challenge I put out! :-)

Then what’s the point of cata? Unless u want to realise elite elder woods after cata has ended because no one would farm rahab or even materials to craft keys since there is bad gold drop if elite elder woods will be realised after cata has ended let us know so we would know when to expect the gold nerf etc

the last update which caused to hedourah we don't really inetentioned to do Bypass we want faster kill to hedourah because of this both part most of the players are already lose interested to play hedourah we players always helping each other we really don't care about hedourah but at least you can remove this very long time shield it is making everyone losing hope to farm gold at hedourah we are losing time more than farming at any other leite maps for gold..

We'll look into adjusting aspects of the shield but we will not be going back to the 'bypass' era for Hedourah.

Nerfing Elite rahab and other Elite bosses might be the dumbest thing you guys will do unless you plan on intentionally slicing off the necks of your player base. Do you not understand that the majority of your f2p can barely do Erahab in a random pt? What about new players? Isnt the whole point of Zodias and then Elder woods to start at one and then work your way up? But instead your going to make people go to " Hey im new, i have 6mil gold by the time i get to lvl 86 and im expected to have full SB gear just to do hedo?" What is this???? You are rewarding your super OP players by buffing elder woods and destroying the majority of the player base. I can understand if you want to intentionally make the game die off but if you dont want to then this is extremely dumb. It's the law of Supply and Demand, allow new players and average players to farm gold in Zodias, when those new players have gold the demand for Krak, Star and need gear increases which makes people buy MORE PLAT. Isnt that what you want? More plat purchases? You will be killing that off. Eventually new gear will be worth less then expected reducing the incentive of P2P players buying plat which in turn reduces supply but then you have no one having the gold to even buy that "cheap" gear because it is now scarce. Look at the Bio set, its pretty OP but you can barely find 80-100 sets in the whole game. But because of the gold scarcity among the average player and the hoarding of the OP player not many bio sets are in current circulation meaning you did not have enough plat purchases. Make it make sense. Either kill the game/shut it down or learn to retain new players and regrow the player base.

I think for STS to simply learn their error of their ways is to play the game. @cinco, i recommend you equip an average zaar set and try all the maps including cata. I then recommend you put on an average krak set and then attempt all the maps, and then a 3/3 SB and so on. Go through all the maps in order with gear and please let us know if "Zaar is recommended for cata" etc. And if you think that hedo needed that buff and Erahab needs to be nerfed. Thanks!

Y'all nerfed elite portals enough. This is more hurtful to freeplayers that are gl farmers than you can imagine. This game has become 95% pay to win. You may not realize it but y'all just prove you don't like freeplayers. F2P gl farmers, all we do is grind and grind for hours and hours to get nowhere. F2P we can't afford gear passed zaar. Not knocking zaar, it's good gear but have to have carries in elite maps/portals and elder anything. F2P cant afford anything with the worst inflation in game right now. Y'all fixed it once with a somewhat balance. But now it's out of control and doesn't effect P2W at all. The plat players can simply do nothing and have everything they want without working for it. So please change your minds about gl nerf to elite zodia portals for F2P gl farmers stuck in zaar, some in kraken but not with good awakes or great jewels, literally just enough to survive elite portals.

Hedo shield duration (and the total amount of defense) have been adjusted. For this reason I will be closing this thread. Please start up another suggestion thread if you feel that the Hedourah encounter is still too much for you to handle.

As for my preview about the inevitable incoming gold nerf... I said it to be transparent and not surprise you. It is gonna happen. It literally happens with every elite campaign release. This time 'round you have a 'heads up and a nice period of time before it hits. Please use this to your advantage.
