So I'm curios on how many of you believe prices will rise when Arcane Legends comes out, and how many believe it will drop vastly.
I for one am in the middle with these twos, and believe some will rise, and others will fall.
Any thoughts?

i think both.

considering less will play, less will list their items and less will buy.

deflation of course.. less will be on, less will sell, allthough if they do sell, itll be for less because less people willing to buy for crazy prices

You could do that now... lol 2+ mill atm in CS, catch a rich player needing/desiring them and 2.6m easily.

I'm never gonna sell mine tho ha.

I believe items such as X-Ray, Squid, Mech will decrease, but event vanity will increase.

In a game called runescape there are tradeable event items that are 2,000,000,000 gold worth. These items are from 2001. When these items had their release they were quite common.
I just want to say that the SL-event items will be incredibly expensive after some time. Not soon but maybe someday.

Ps: i dont play runescape lol

Unless StS re-add them to an event, and then they become useless in a matter of an hour :p

Or they sell them cheap because they are quitting anyways.
We can' say yet.

I'm well aware of Runescape since I practically botted a 138 lol. Was fun, but I wanted something on-the-go really, and just got lame after a while. Arcane will have a huge effect since I'm aware of many people tending to leave, and items can go either way. I'm sure some will sell for cheap cause they're quitting, but just a wait game now.

And yet it still depends on the flow of things example : when people goes for AL and finish capping it they will returned to SL the same thing happen to PL.
So, it's depends on the flow of the games itself. An interesting updates of the game will make people return but a bad update will make em leave.

Well i used to play rs, n when u sell items there, they have a base price. In sl we kinda give everything a price

I agree, but this game is literally boring to me at least if no events are going on. I used to play A LOT and right after the Wraith vanity ended so did I lol. I'm probably on like 15 minutes now just to check auction, sell stuff, etc. Once you get level capped, make new accounts to cap, and actually have credits where you can buy anything you desire, end-game gear, etc. Nothing more to do than just wait for a new update, but STS doesn't seem to care about SL compared to all the others. We're a gum under their shoe and they just do small things to try and please us, while some go on and buy platinums to support them, but are still disappointed in the end.

I believe prices will go either way since this game is "Player Based" prices instead of "Server/Game" prices.

Example:

Let's say I see (1) Zany in the auction for 35k and i want to gamble a bit. I'll buy that Zany and then put it up for 95k, and then everyone else does the same. They put it around 85-100k just because they saw mine, then I remove my Zany (85K) and put it at a lower price, let's say, I'll put it for 84,999 and then it sells! Bang 50k profit just like that. Reason why I used the Zany method is because, I just finished doing it today, and it sold.

Point is this game is player-based auctions, and "we" can easily make something that is worth 2k into 200k if everyone decides to do that. I for one don't complain since I actually profit out of this, but for those who play 24/7 and are still "poor" and struggle even getting their hands on Pink Glasses, etc is kinda rough. They will play 24/7 and once they get what they want, what else is there for them? Get Legendary gear? More Vanity such as; X-ray, Squid, which would take someone months and months if they can never get "lucky" with drops, or don't understand how to "merch" their way to the top of the game.

I personally believe items will rise even more.
Red Jacket 35k-40k now 70k+
Denim 25-30 now 50
Brown 20 to 50
You get the point. All these prices have changed in the last month and a half. I'm just about to hit my 2 month mark of actually playing Star Legends about next week, and I've seen others play for so much longer, and still struggle with getting "incomes."

Right when AL comes out prices will drop on some items, but about a week or two into it, I believe inflation will happen drastically.

Just a mans thought to the other community is all!

Wait, wait, wait. I'm so thoroughly confused. Let me get this straight. You guys are asking if star legends prices will be inflated or deflated? If so, why is this in the arcane legends general discussion, and why does the op not even mention star legends? Lol! I'm so lost!
