A brewing rivalry calls you to action, Legends!
A recently discovered cave brimming with Radiant Arcanite is now the battleground between Peylon Rusk and the Temple of Scrolls.
Rusk asserts that Arlorian Heroes have lawfully claimed the Elder Woods territories in their name.
The Temple of Scrolls claims that Scholar Gevyn was the first to tell Arlorian Heroes about the Elder Woods,
and this grants them exclusive rights to all discoveries and treasures.
King Vyromir of Arlor has issued an official "Writ of Conflict," demanding each side prove a true, Legendary heir to the New World.
Which side will you choose?
Getting Started

Visit Johan in Windmoore to hear more about the event and what led to the tense conflict between the two factions.
Then, head over to the Leaderboard next to the Tavern to meet the emissaries from both sides: Tyves Rusk and Savante Bosch.

Once you've carefully considered both sides speak to Johan,
and then return to the emissary for your chosen side to swear your allegiance.
Only once you've sworn allegiance will you be able to enter the portal at the center of town.
How to Play

Once you've selected a team, you may enter the Besieged Cave dungeon.
Fight through monsters and the fierce dragon boss Gilmmerath to earn points for your faction.
Players of either faction may enter and play the dungeon together, each winning points for their chosen side.
Back in Windmoore, the torches behind Tyves and Savante will burn with flames of the current leading faction's color.
You may switch factions at any time by speaking to Johan and purchasing a special item to buy the opposing leader's favor,
but BEWARE! Not only does this move cost you a LOT of gold (*cost varies based on your level),
but you will lose all points and progress for your current faction and will start from 0.
It is not a decision to be taken lightly.

Purchase a Faction Wars Farmer's Elixir Kit from your faction leader to boost your event score points by 15% for 1 hour.
Opening multiple Elixir Kits will extend the duration of the Faction Wars Farmer's Elixir duration.
Better Loot Odds
The Faction Wars Farmer's Elixir gives you:
Increased chance to loot Legendary "Glimmerath" Weapons from the Boss.
Chance to loot Mythic "Cursed Skull Stone" upgrade item (see info below) from the Boss.
Chance to loot Arcane "Heavy Arcanite Stone" upgrade item (see info below) from the Boss.
Chance to loot "Humble" (Blue, Red Level 1 / Starting Character Vanity Armors) from Minibosses.
Leaderboards and Rewards
Leaderboard rewards will go out to the Top 25 individual players for each faction, as well as a special bonus prize for the Top 25 of the winning faction!
The winning faction is the faction with the most points.
A faction's overall score is the sum of individual player scores.

Radiant Arcanite that bristles throughout the Besieged Cave... and they conscripted
low-level, 'new' Legends to make the journey.
It didn't go well for them.
