Hello Arlorians. First thing, thank you for your creativity and engagement with this fun new contest idea! You all surprised us with the many ways you interpreted the challenge.

With anything that encourages original player content, it is important that we are as true to the rules and spirit of the contest as possible. Maintaining the integrity of the forum and game TOS is part of what makes the Arcane Legends community so vibrant and inclusive.

After a thorough review of all submissions, we've determined that some content falls outside of the contest guidelines and will not be eligible for prizing.

Disqualified subjects include:



Public figures tied to or known for "behavior that does not support a safe and comfortable environment for all users." (per the Terms of Service (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/content.php?385-Terms-of-Service))
Real people who are not public figures (memes excluded)
Stock and AI generated images that do not depict known IPs
Original characters (I'll have to do another contest like that sometime!)
Images or scenes that do not contain cosplayed characters (such as objects, logos, or scenes where the players do not depict the referenced characters/figures)
The PG-13 rule was tough to enforce since we do have vanities that reference media that is rated 'R' or 'Mature' as in movies or games. Anyone that cosplayed something outside of the PG-13 range that was referenced in our own vanities (horror movies, for example) remains eligible.


Since some people posted consolidated entries (with a mix of eligible and ineligible), rather than delete posts, I will post a reply below this announcement with the list of IGNs that are currently eligible to receive participation prizes and the number of valid entries they have. <3

Once again, I want everyone to have their fair chance to participate! If you posted before and aren’t in the eligible list, you have through this weekend to submit a new entry!

The contest will now close 12pm CT on Monday 8/26.

I’ll still aim to announce winners announced around 8/29 as planned!

If you don't win this time, don't worry. I see more costume contests in Arlor's future. Winners for this one will be announced in a separate thread soon!

Ah! I didn't notice that you had all of their POVs in there. You can definitely post for all 3 of them, but I'd have to remove your other 2 entries. Is that okay?

The rule we went by is 3 entries per forum user. So if you wanted to post for someone else it would apply to your 3 entry limit.

I wanna say thanks to everyone who participated in this awesome cosplay contest!! The Spacetime Studios staff really enjoyed your creativity and sense of fun.

Our executive staff (me and the other honchos - but mostly me, tbh) has the final say on what submissions are / are not going to make the cut. These disqualifications are primarily based on the criteria Remiem set forth but I also made over-arching decisions about was appropriate. If you have issues with the decision(s), feel free to PM me - but don't let this prevent you from putting together another submission before the extended deadline.
