Hi,
Every successful MMO is one backed by a strong community and Guilds play a big part in this. Currently the guild functions are rudimentary at best and requires a lot of work to improve. Based on past experiences these are some key feature that could help.
1) Features that develop a guild like a point system:
First of we could have guilds on a point system which is refreshed every week, month or season?
The points could be based on the following:
1) Daily quests from each member
2) Killing Elite bosses
3) PVP?
2) Competition in Guild versus guild pvp
This one is a bit tricky. We could have points gained on an individual basis or guild basis.
3) Rewards for growing guilds.
Of course there has to be rewards? Let's say the top 3 guilds get extra allies for gold or buffs? It would be mutually beneficial for members of the guild to party, quest and do stuff together to make the guild count.
Hope such features could be implemented in due course and allow the community to root itself into the game in a more concrete way.
For your kind consideration.
