Would it be possible to add some code into the apk to reduce the onscreen os controls for Android to the little dots that require two taps to use? I find myself hitting those occasionally and pulling up my running apps or going back to home. Or perhaps hiding the bar completely and then having to access it via a three finger up swipe or something?

Edit: They are only on Android 4.x and up, and I believe only on pure Android. So, if you are running anything with any sort of manufacturer skin on it, you probably won't have this issue.

Death could you show us a screen of exactly what you mean? This thread confuses me.

Much clearer now. I think I've seen that on Asus tablets, not just Asus Nexus-es. So you wanna hide that? Isn't it part of the OS to always be visible? They're soft onscreen keys.

Yeah, they are, but I have other apps that hide them or require a double tap to use it while the app is open so you don't accidentally leave it. As close as it is to the user elements of the UI it can be hit rather easily.

That's definitely a device specific thing (it's not there on all Android devices), so I'm not sure how easily that could be done.
