So, content update 45929 added "bleed" effects to daggers. See Thread (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?623-Content-Update-(45929))
I took a Sai through a level or two of zombies with no visible damage beyond my basic attack.

Can anyone confirm "bleed" damage from daggers? Thx!

Is a Sai considered a dagger?

Id believe so.......and i have proof.....ill try to take a snapshot of it.......my enemy was still being dealt damage even though i was not attacking it, and i was soloing. Or maybe I was just lagging...lol

Maybe correct about the difference between Sai and Dagger as well, I'll have to go looking for one.

Sai is a dagger.
It's like saying a scimitar is not a sword.

ok to get a definitive picture is impossible but what i can say is bleeding is there as i put i guy down to extremley low health and ran away and he died while chasing me all i can say is bleeding is there but it might aswell not be it dose basically no damage and there is no action to show you that the enemy is bleeding so all in all space time please make bleeding more effective and please make an action or something even like red stars popping out of their head every time they take damage from bleeding .. kinda like when an archer breaks armour

EDIT ***** sorry guys i completley missed out on something if you zoomed in you can see the bleeding effect and here are some pictures =)
