I've recently ignored some players who join the race just to kill mobs and then leave. This was bothering me, but they enter the same race as me, even though I started the map.

It's a chat feature, doesn't block them from your maps.

To form a ghost party aka solo runs.
Invite random player

For example type /partyinvite xxxx or /pi xxxx

To leave ghost party so others can join map type /partyleave or /pl

To remain in ghost party yet still allow others to join at start you can type /partyzone or /pz to open the zone

All saying 'make ghost party' but I would like to say the same to those who wanna kill mobs quick alone, make ghost party and run solo.
You all are not helping random players who can't farm fast but just mess around the maps.

So a person is supposed to walk at a snails speed because others haven't invested enough time into the game? Or else they would have a ss. Also, a number of these 'Slow' people have vanities worth enough to buy a ss but refuse to. So what then?

If they are 'Just messing around', then that seems like they definitely should be the ones making a party.. you cannot rely on others to fix your problems for you.

Edit: And before the replies come about me being one of those people, no I'm actually the opposite. The only time I just go on by myself is if I'm almost finished with the map already. I usually tell them it's clear and sometimes even apologize.

I think they know that. almost everyone, people who run very fast have a very strong need to show this to others an ego that affects practically all of them.

that's not the problem.

if you enter a map just to kill mobs and do it in a way that forces other players to go back to the map to fix the remaining mobs because the person only cared about killing mobs and leaving without wanting to do it right.

It's quite distracting, if you just want to kill the mobs, forming a ghost group would be better for everyone.

the person who wants mobs would have the mobs all to themselves.

Whoever wants the boss will not have their runs affected.

You say "haven't invested enough time/invest in ss" how tf can they do that while farming and players just pass through them while they are so called "investing" their time in the game. I want this game to survive and for that to happen we gotta help out the newbies/weak players. Who wants to play a game where some dude just flies past you and clears the entire map. Just saying.

Ignored faction just block players from sending you messages, if you want to go solo on a map you have to make a ghost party. Just go to party and type a random name like jdhwhsb. It should work.

As always, you don't get the point.

It's a random room. I consider it as public place. You care about others in public and we call it as etiquette or manner.
Some wants to run with jewel elixir. Some wants to farm elite mobs aps. Some want to level their pets. Some just want to farm gold but not strong enough to solo the boss.
You kill a part of mobs and left, sometimes they don't get to farm what they want.
If you want to use random room, care about others. Or you can solo map as you can solo the map anyways.
Let's be honest. You don't wanna solo JUST BECAUE YOU CAN'T REMAP FAST.
That's just selfish.

I just want people who play this game to have good experience.

By the way, 'you' is all the people who play selfish. If you don't play like that, don't be triggered.

hope they enhance the ignore function in the game to make it more reliable.
like adding a type of ignore… maybe chat, maps (includes event, town), trade… so on and a full ignore.

Ignore function doensn't block players from sending you a message, they can still do that. You just don't receive what they have sent.

Should be made so that they can't even send you messages in the first place.

funfact with ignore feature you can do /ignore and see the list of all player's characters that they have !! :)
