If you want to chitty chat with your buddies or you get a fresh drop, or a level up, don't go afk. Take yourself to town to do that junk, don't make the map harder for everyone else while you debate on whether the crit bonus of your new hat outweighs the loss of the dodge bonus.

I had two players chatting dead at the boss yesterday. Had to burn 20 pots to finish the boss while they where having a nice chat about school and the holidays. Random peeps 1 Stomp: 0

That's when you drag the boss over to them and exit

What would that do if they where already dead at the boss?

That's when I would just bounce. I know it stinks to bail on the boss after going through the whole map to get there, but I'm not gonna sit around slamming pots while everyone else is either too lazy or preoccupied to re-spawn. Not to mention that, depending on the boss, you may not stand a chance without the others anyway.

I have noticed people go AFK in the middle of runs in this game much more than the others for some reason. Maybe it's because it's brand new and every little thing that happens, people need to stop and check it out. The pro thing to do (unwritten rule, if you will) is to wait until the end of run to check out all your drops and do your level up stuff, etc.

Stomp how are people chatting while dead? The re spawn dialog covers the chat for me.

Good question. You'll have to ask them!

Yeah, I get spawn dialog covering everything too. I can't even figure out if they're doing enough damage for me to wait or whether there's time for me to walk back, because I cannot see crap. I try to figure things out with sounds, but of course, not as reliable as seeing.

Maybe they did respawn and I was too involved to notice. I could swear I was seeing their bodies on the ground though and this incessant chatter about vacations and school! lol

Yet another good use for moveable camera view. When you die in the other games, it's possible to move the view around behind the re-spawn window so that you can get a look at what's going on. It's still an obstructed view, obviously, but if you get the right angle you can see what's happening and decide whether it's worth it or not to re-spawn.

If you open and close the menu, the respawn window closes for about 3 seconds.

This is true in at least PL and SL, not sure about AL

I really don't think they are going to introduce a rotating camera.. STS probably designed the whole game to be viewed from a certain angle, so they would have a LOT of additional designing to do. It's my number one disappointment for AL, and I hope they add it, but I don't have my hopes up.

The Main reason AL has a single camera is because , after all AL is a game which has demanding graphics. Rotating the camera would make the game lag a lot on many devices. Heck i even lag on an S3 already. Which is why i prefer playing on chrome.

I don't lag on my S2 at all.. that's weird that it lags on your S3. Maybe in full groups with big mobs?

That's not how graphics in games work.. stuff off screen all around you (for a certain distance) is rendered in advance and cached so you don't have that sort of issue with performance.. and that's not the main reason, anyways. STS already said the main reason they did it is because new players get confused/frustrated easily when they have to worry about moving around AND looking around AND attacking/using potions on mobile devices. It's super easy on a computer, but not so friendly on a phone or a tablet.
