Is my Ker'shal a "One Of a Kind?"

The last time I posted my Ker'shal for sale, I made a statement saying "I'm not saying this is a 1 of 1."

However, after giving it some more thought, I remembered something that I had actually forgotten about my Kersh. It is the only Ker'shal that I have ever seen in the game, where the para is set in the middle of 2 grand glacial gems.

I am 99.99% sure that this is the only one in the game with the para set in the middle of two glacials. If someone posts a screenshot of another Kersh with the para set in the middle of two grand glacials, I would be FLOORED BRO!!!

I recently decided to re-awaken it at the suggestion of another player. The awake is ok I guess, might give it another go at the next awakening event.

I HAVE seen other Ker'shals with a para stone and 2 grand glacial gems, but the para was always at the top or the bottom. In fact, about a month or two after I bought mine, another one got listed in the auction with a para and 2 grand glacials, but again the para was either at the top or the bottom. It was so long ago that I can't remember if it was on the bottom or the top.

I almost bought it. It was listed in the auction for $ 1,600,000. Mine cost the same, I paid 1.6 million for what you see here, and as some of you already know, I've been offered more than a billion for it now.

This bad boy keeps increasing in value over time. Crazy! O.o

Whoever set these gems and stone, obviously did this on purpose. I wish I could remember the player name that I bought it from. Mind is a little foggy from that time lol.

This thread is just to put out a feeler.

I also love my Fortified Glaive of Tactics. I walk around the map with these weapons all the time.

I personally remember many para items used to be done in this way. If it was not a full para item it was usually set up this way because it looked nice XD. But now adays there are new better gems than glacial and grand glacial so when you unslot a gem it shifts all the gems up. So thats why the para gems are mostly on the top now.

Never thought the slotted placement was actually something anyone would ever pay attention to, but to each their own. I personally remove all gems/jewels that are slotted alongside my para items and add full mana ignore awakenings as a way to leave my mark on them :)

each time you put gem to your item, (we used to put multiple times to get grand version of the gems) slots will change to downwards, for example. lets say you have a item with first slot Necropolis skull, second is para gem and third is glacial gem. once you craft another glacial gem on that third slot to give it a try if you getting grand glacial gem, slots will changed as glacial will become first slot, necropolis is second and para gem will be third. it will continue like that each time you put a new gem. i mean i dont know if todays game still have it, it used to be like that. i see you really interested on those little details. wish your staff were unawakened and it would be more unique. since you can not remove awakens from an item. so end of the day, enjoy your staff. there is way more items that are way more unique.

Lots of shouting in game this morning trying to sell a 1 only in game para staff. This is the first time I ever heard that jewel placement you can’t even see made any difference. What a stretch of the imagination.

2. When people inspect me, they can see the gems and stone.

3. I don't shout, I calmly speak facts with eloquence and articulation.

This comment reminds me of a word in English, "appreciation."

You know, when some folks see Picasso's blue period or cubism paintings, they're like, MEH.
Other people (like me), when they see those paintings they're like, WOW!! This guy was on a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL when it comes to painting. Some folks don't have an "appreciation" for fine art, they just don't.

I don't know if you're old enough to drink alcohol, but did you know?

Some folks can't tell the difference between a bottle of Gato Negro (cheap, common table wine), and a bottle of Chateau Fougas (vintage bordeaux from France). All wine tastes the same to them. They just don't have the taste buds, so they can't develop an "appreciation" for fine wine.

My friend, if all you can see is "stats" when you look at items in this game, I honestly can't help you.

This thread is for folks who "appreciate" the design and beauty of the items that STS has included in the game. Including the gems and stones, that ADD to the beauty of the item.

This doesn't mean that I am better or worse than you. It means that we are different, and we look at things differently. That's all.

I hope this comment helps you "appreciate" the purpose of this thread.

I never said my Ker'shal was "the most unique item in the game."

The title of this thread is: "is my Ker'shal a one of a kind." That is a question about my Ker'shal only, not a statement about ALL items in this game.

So far, no one has produced a screen shot of a Kersh that looks exactly like mine. Therefore, I'm still 99.99% sure, it is the only one in the game with a para sandwiched between 2 grand glacial gems.

Thank you for your post, explaining that it is actually difficult to keep the para in the middle, once it's moved, you can never move it back.

Also, unless the devs change things and make para stones and glacial gems start dropping again, what I have will unlikely ever be duplicated.

I don't see a reason for it to be worth over 1b since someone can buy a normal kersh for around 100m or so and a para necklace / ring for 40m and get the same effect. Just curious here on understanding how adding a para to a 100m item some how turns it into a 1bil+ item, not even the best item to have a para gem on is 1b and thats a para gem avarice belt.

Avarice belt is in no way as beautiful as a Ker'shal scepter. Plain and simple.

Like I said in my last response, this is about the beauty of the item, not the power of the stats that the item gives you. I could easily swap the glacial gems for Abethon and Wymelda stones. I have some in my stash. Could have done that a long time ago.

If I did, I would ruin the item in my eyes, because I think grand glacial gems are beautiful. And as you can see by some of the comments on this thread, I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Like I said in another thread about my Kersh, I don't fight with this weapon anymore, the most I do with it is the daily story token quests, and walk around on the maps flexing.

The para and Glacial gems IN the weapon, makes the weapon beautiful in my eyes. Because it's MY weapon, MY eyes are the ones that count.

You can find a screen shot of the conversation that I had with the player who offered me 1b+ in another thread, in the traders portion of this forum.

If you don't think the weapon is worth that much, that's YOUR opinion. Not everyone who plays this game shares the same opinions as you.

This forum is not public, it's only available to people who play STS games. YOUTUBE is a public forum, this is not the same thing.

Taste is closely related and tied to smell, not sight. What you are smelling will alter the way your food tastes. not what you are seeing.
