Legends tell of the foolish King Grod Ketretus who reigned over the once wealthy Hiberian Province, that fell to poverty as the King funneled the province's resources into his own personal coffers. The king commissioned the elaborate Hiberian Labyrinth to protect these riches, guarded by the mighty minotaur Bjorras, hoping to cheat certain death and return one day to enjoy his riches.

Hiberia had once been relegated to the pages of myth and legend....but no longer.

How to Play

Visit the travelling scholar Vivyen in Windmoore to learn about her connection to King Grod Ketretus' story, and begin a quest to adventure to his labyrinth of lore. Travel through the energy portal to explore the labyrinth, tap into some of the King's riches, earn leaderboard points, and even take on the terrifying minotaur Bjorras himself. Beware of the King's tricky traps!

A Massive Maze
The Hiberian Labyrinth is a massive maze of twisting, turning hallways meant to confuse and distract you!
Here are a few tips to keep you from getting hopelessly lost:


Minimap
Use your minimap to navigate! Zoom out all the way (minimap zoom and opacity can be found in your Options menu).
Let the minimap show you where you've been and where you still need to venture.


Kill Counter
Before you can face Golden Bjorras you will need to kill all of the monsters in the Labyrinth. At the top of your screen you will see a message indicating "Kill All Enemies!"
When there are 50 (or fewer) enemies on screen this message changes to indicate the number of monsters left:

When all monsters are killed the message changes yet again to say "Kill Bjorras!"


Guide Arrows
When all enemies are defeated and Bjorras can be accessed you will see green 'guide' arrows on the floor at hallway intersections:

Camera
While in the Hiberian Labyrinth you can zoom, turn and pitch your camera angle!

Swipe the screen to adjust camera position. It's a great way to help you navigate.



Labyrinth Traps
All of King Ketretus' traps are engineered to inflict heavy damage.
Watch for the trap's warning indicators and stay away / out of the way before it activates.
Almost all of the Labyrinth traps will kill you if you are not careful!

Note: the Scholar's Gear Farming elixir reduces damage taken from Labyrinth traps.


The Spikes
Designed to cleave treasure-laden thieves in half!

Watch for the warning indicator on the dungeon floor. Don't be on top of these blades when they suddenly slice upwards!
Spikes are deadly any time they are visible. Don't cross while extended or you will take heavy damage!
REVIVING after being killed by a Spike Trap will place you outside of the danger zone.


The Ballista
Engineered to pierce gold-grabbing raiders with a fiery arrow!

A warning indicator appears on the ground beneath the ballista to indicate where it will fire its deadly projectile.
Projectiles can be avoided when they are in flight.


The Grinder
Built to cut thieves below the knees!

Grinder blades move back and forth along a fixed track. They have no warning indicator.
Keep your eyes peeled and you can side-step grinder blades to avoid damage.


The Grenade
Engineered to blast maze raiders to pieces!

Grenades indicate a line in which they will be fired. After they hit the ground, grenades explode and cause damage, knockback and stun!
Watch where the grenade lands and be sure to avoid the area.


The Flame
Designed to incinerate adventurers to ash!

A warning indicator will appear before the flames ignite.
Flames are deadly any time they are visible. Don't cross into the flames or you will take heavy damage!
REVIVING after being killed by a Flame Trap will place you outside of the danger zone.


The Ghost of King Ketretus
Condemned to roam the halls of his Labyrinth...

The dead King Ketretus is surrounded by a "terror aura" that will send you into a panic!
He cannot be damaged, killed, taunted, or otherwise affected by your skills... so keep your distance.
Avoid being caught in his wake - especially if you are near other deadly Labyrinth traps.



Quests

Completing the Hiberian Labyrinth dungeon for the first time and returning to Vivyen with the information she seeks will grant you the recipe for the Snatchy Scion's Coin Cache, allowing you to trade an Epic rarity set for a chest containing a bit (or a lot of!) the King's gold stash, up to 1,000,000g!

Return to Vivyen daily to complete another quest that grants a consumable recipe and components for the Massive Guardian Crate, which contains the chance to loot Level 81 Arcane Gear, Level 86 Mythic Star Beast gear, Level 86 Legendary Weapons (Chakrams, Orbs, and Chainswords), Level 86 Legendary Elemental Gear, big time gold, and more.

The standard Locked Grid Guardian Crate, Massive Locked Grid Guardian Crate, Store Crates and Class-Specific Store crates have a chance to drop Level 86 Mythic Star Beast gear including three new weapons:

GREAT HAMMER OF THE STAR BEAST

Charged attacks summon the "Beast Hammer" buff which grants +20% Crit Damage, +30% Haste and +300% Damage in PvE (+10% Crit Damage, +15% Haste, and +50% Damage in PvP) for eight (8) seconds, if not on cooldown. "Beast Hammer" buff adds a twelve (12) second cooldown.


Charged attacks also apply a "Galactc Gavel" debuff to your target which deals damage over time and increases damage dealt by standard attacks for five (5) seconds. Boss and Miniboss monsters take significantly more damage from follow-up strikes from the Great Hammer.


SHOCK CANNON OF THE STAR BEAST

Charged attacks apply a crippling "Cosmic Exposure" proc (if not on cooldown) that reduces enemy damage and speed by 75% (50% in PvP)!


The Shock Cannon's follow-up attacks on any target afflicted by "Cosmic Exposure" yields significant combo damage that ignores armor. "Cosmic Disarm" lasts for seven (7) seconds, and applies a twelve (12) second cooldown.


BATTLE BOW OF THE STAR BEAST

Charged attacks invoke the "Rapid Refire" buff which launches two (2) volleys of Cosmic Arrows in quick succession. Each volley can push-back and damage up to three (3) enemy targets!


If not on cooldown, charged attacks afflict targets with "Cosmic Crush" debuff. This searing miasma of energy does heavy damage over time and reduces your targets' armor and movement speed (by 75% in PvE, 50% in PvP) for five (5) seconds with an eight (8) second cooldown. Subsequent standard attacks do significantly more damage to afflicted targets!

Star Beast Set Bonus

Like all the other Star Beast weapons, the new Bow, Gun and Hammer benefit from the "Star Beast" itemset...


Wear the 6-Piece Star Beast Set to gain the "Cosmic Killer" buff when attacking! This buff gives you stacking damage (200% in PvE, 60% in PvP) and damage reduction (60% in PvE, 30% in PvP) for seven (7) seconds (if your weapon is not on cooldown).

Boss Loot

On top of the glimmering prizes in event chests and crates, the minotaur boss Golden Bjorras is sitting on a hoard of his own, and has the chance to drop Level 16, 46, 26, 72, 76 and 81 Arcanes, as well as Level 81 Mythics and 86 Legendaries!

Plus, a new Grid Guardian set including armor, helm, and wisp, so you can raid the labyrinth in the most appropriate attire.

No kraken armor drop when there already isn't any star beast adds insult to injury. Last years Labyrinth event had kraken armor drop so it doesn't make sense why its not in this years loot table. This is literally a downgraded version of last years event. Even with the vendors, now it costs 3 coins for a weapon and 2 coins for an armor when in the previous year it only costed 2 for wep and 1 for armor. I don't understand why kraken gear are still in crates it should be removed, kraken gears have been dragged on for far too long now its ridiculous. The new arcane gears are already around the corner unless you guys want to delay it for a few months for some reason. The whole 2024 of events have just been downgraded versions of previous ones it doesn't make sense. I think they should remove the kraken gear in crates and add rusk weapons to it and add star beast and kraken armor back to the boss loot table so that the event is more exciting. Please make this event redeem all of the bad past event we have been getting this year.

Your team did a great job in designing colors and effects. People think it's great, the game is on the rise and keeping up with the trends. But now disappointingly, what you thought was "still fresh" is actually 365 days old and everything looks like it was copied and pasted. I know you guys are trying to edit pets and release new things but this event is superficial. It's disappointing to have to wait a whole year for an event in half a month.

I think it's fair to not have sb, bio and rusk.

But having bound kraken for lb runner award seems little awkward. It's an old gear and lb runners should already have them. It's just useless.
Would you consider to have tradeable sb gears in vendor or maybe selectable arcane so people can choose like Maul or kershal? It won't destroy the market imo.

Ps, I'm not going to run lb. Don't have time for it. Just trying to spice up the event.

The Hiberian Labyrinth is a cruel and unforgiving place that is designed to kill you.

From my perspective: Birthday, Fishing, House Party, Racing events, and the Scavenger Hunt are the only true "HC friendly" events :-)

Yeah - I'll update the forum post to indicate that the 86 Mythics are in the locked crates along with the info about the Star Beast Bow, Shock Cannon and Great Hammer.

The Labyrinth Coins awarded for Leaderboard Ranks can be used to purchase bound Arcane gear from the event vendor.

The scarcity can be alleviated pretty quickly by just farming (consider overlapping this search w energy farming - assuming you have the right level toons).

Note that the daily quest will let you pick one of these locked crate ingredients too.

As for some replacement for the Valley locked, I'm gonna say no. The recipe uses 1x pull crates from the recent campaigns, so adding a Massive would throw it off. I could require a Massive from these three campaigns but then we'd be back where we started :-)

Can tradeable star beast gears be added to vendor? I feel like its fair because only lb players will be able to get it and I don't think it should be bound because its a mythic. Bound kraken gears have been in the event since it first came out so I would like to see a different reward at the vendor.

All kraken items drop from the event in luding many other expensive items just farm it then resell wtv you get then buy star..he already said no..to many times

And you should listen to 99% of players, not just 1% of selfish ones. 1 year of a boring game. I invited some friends to play but they couldn't afford gears and had a lot of deaths. They were new and needed help a lot in Catacomb, so high hopes to play this event but now they all said they wanted to quit. I will go with them to other games. Thank you.

I don't see improvement in new hammer over current weapons warrior use. It won't bring us to the next level by getting it, unless it's dot (every tick) is as strong as one hit from neptaris under proc.(which i doubt it is) Or if you would allow 2nd charged attack "galactic gavel" to be applied when warrior proc kraken sword or neptaris before it. (which i doubt you allow) this is just first impression, let's see it in action, thanks.

But consider to have sb gears on lb reward token on vendor?
Kraken gears are in locks, sb gears are in same locks. Getting bound kraken is pointless especially it drops in cata as well

Hi Sts,

Add the sb gears to the loottable. Especially after all the p2w content you been pushing. Don't forget that the p2w community need the f2p community to keep this game playable/ fun. I see to many players go permanently due lack of creativity/ content and everything behind the pay wall. It would benefit you, the game and most important the community if you made a small change like this.

The reason why SB will not drop is because Elderwoods is still fresh and some expansions are new. And star beast is the only by far the best item in the game and also it is not a great idea to add star beast. They will lose profit for this event.
But hear me this, At least drop one star beast item will do to make players satisfied and you can still make profit on it, Right? Well, Some Star beast owner will hate this because these items we're expensive. So atleast one of the cheapest star beast item drop will do.
I'm not against these kind of drop list and i'm just giving some good suggestion so hopefully we get at least one
The drop list was great though because we can still loot the best armor in the game and of course some weapons that we can resell and makes a pale of gold of it. Thanks for that.
