Hello!
Is everyone here doing this trading strategy?
Selling a gear with 3 full sockets and removing it before trading?
If yes, Stop it. Here's why:

Someone will try to scam.
As you noticed i just said scam. But how? He will try to push you to remove those sockets and in the end he will not going to buy it. You should never do removing sockets from your gear. IT'S A SCAM

Your time wasted or your Speed up kits wasted for nothing.
Time and efforts are needs to be worth it. Well, If your time waster, then you can remove it and sell your gear just to get gold.
Those who saves time, Don't do this. This is not right.

And of course removing it will not benefit you and the other benefits it. Never do socket removing from your gears.

I wanted to say this because i almost got scammed by someone else by pushing me to remove the sockets from my gears.
So i want everyone here to be aware on new scamming strategies or let's say "MODUS"
And hopefully understands how to trade properly.

That's all and have a wonderful day everyone!

Making agreement on buying items if socket is removed then Changed mind is a completely scam.

Still makes no sense, why would anyone ask you for remove jewels from gear if the price is the same? I can understand if the price has difference with or without jewels, but that's not the case, the buyer is paying for item and still get jewels on it and yet asking you to remove jewels? it's just suspect, people are too innocent now days, but have to be aware, no one can be trusted.

Making agreement on buying items if socket is removed then Changed mind is a completely scam.

If it was a serial problem of a single person with the intention to cause distress to players, then they could get it for griefing. Items or gold never exchanged hands, and how did they profit from it?

You wasting your time because a trade didn't go through is not a scam. This simply could be someone changing their mind, unless you can prove otherwise( That would still fall under a different category other than Scamming).

When I first learned what scamming was in games, 25 years ago, I'm sure I called many things a scam that were not.

Always check with yourself and prepare for the worst when making questionable decisions. That way there are no surprises.
