It's time to party legends! Arcane Legends has been going strong for 12 years! Now, that's worth a big celebration! We'll be partying for two (2) weeks starting November 7th at 1:30 PM CST.


Cake

What is a birthday celebration without cake? To get started, put on your party hats and head out to defeat monsters all over Arlor! Foes (that are no more than 10 levels below you) will drop cake slices to collect.

Craft your slices into larger and larger cakes, or loot cakes of all sizes from Arlor bosses (also no more than 10 levels below you). But don't dig in right away! Take your cakes to the nearest town or your guild hall, because birthday cakes of all sizes will explode and grant items to you and 4 nearby players!

Here's the breakdown:


- Small Cake Loot -

For you: 1 Birthday Token, 1-3 score points
For 3 others: 5x Health Potion or 5x Mana Potion
For 1 other: a slice of 12th Birthday Cake


- Medium Cake Loot -

For you: 5 Birthday Tokens and a chance to loot Birthday Balloons for your house, 4-7 score points
For 3 others: 1000 Gold!
For 1 other: a Small 12th Birthday Cake


- Large Cake Loot -

For you: 25 Birthday Tokens and a chance to loot the Birthday Banner for your house, 8-12 score points
For 3 others: a random weak or damaged Jewel!

Complete the Jarl's initial quests to access East Windmoore where the powerful party dragon Arcanax awaits! Up to 25 players can enter the zone and take on Arcanax. He will respawn every five (5) minutes.

Defeating the dragon will give you a chance to collect:

- Small, Medium, and Large Cakes
- 19-25 score points
- 10 Birthday Tokens
- The lootable Arcanax Badge!

A few notes on the Arcanax encounter:

- It's Hardcore-friendly! This golden dragon just wants to make you dance around and turn you into cake... he's not going to kill you (or even hurt you - except maybe your pride).
- Damage values are irrelevant when attacking Arcanax. Each hit that you, your friends, and your pets land on Arcanax will reduce his HP by one (1)... because we want Legends at all levels to be able to play together and contribute to the goal.

I understand you guys need revenue to keep the game running, but the fact that free to play players rarely get anything in events is kind of becoming a joke. It's a birthday event to celebrate AL and the community, surely free to play players should get some cool things to loot? Without us free to play players there would be no activity in the game, none of the plat buyers would play because the game would be dead. Atleast show that you care for us a little rather than just care for our money.

I rarely complain at threads because it's clear to see the devs are trying harder, like the quality of the recent vanities... But it would be nice to see some drops for free to play players. It doesn't even have to be INSANE drops, just give us for example: noble+ jewel drops, a few egg drops.. etc etc, and we would be more than happy :))

It works both ways, plat buyers still spend tons of money
More inactive free to play players will return for the grind.

Summary = game will be active and you will most likely be making more money.

The vanity weapons are extremely cool and free so long as you play the vent and loot event tokens. Same with the wisp. The farmers elix should be in the auction for gold and you can buy crate keys for gold. Everyone keeps talking about what is not ftp but it seems to me that fyi players have access to the same loot with a little effort.

The aura's are looking good but hoping that you guys aren't running out of ideas. We already have a lot of flower based design auras in game. Hoping to see a new and fresh patterns someday. Like for example on Halloween, you could've made an aura with marionette in it or maybe something with candles or boogey worms. I wonder what type of auras will you release on upcoming harvest and winter event. Poison fog aura looks good and I hope to see a premium version of it someday. Something like white mist or whatever floats your boat. Also wanting to see a white cloud aura and aura with 6 pistols someday (like a gun version of the blade auras)


Anyways hoping that this event will be great and maybe make an arcanax pet someday. Also, a new lootable badge is needed to add on Arcanax's drops.

Agree, crate keys are now available to be purchased for in game gold. This opens up f2p players chances to open locked chests too , as long as you grind for gold - everything is obtainable
