Now we can remove pet trainer thing without losing all the shards we put in it? I mean if for example i got a lvl 5 pet evo if i remove it i get my shards back?

I tried and it works like this:
Once you swap the trainer, the trainer you had on the pet gonna be lost, and the pet will keep their evolution level.
Basically the update was made to people who want to change between haste and damage trainer without losing their pet evolution progress, but still going to lose their trainer.
