Mage charged attack sometimes ignores enemy

This has been bothering me for a while now
When I charge my kraken gun and tries to combo the boss, it often completely
wiff and hits nothing even when the boss is infront of me with no obstruction
It breaks the combo, doesnt apply the effect and is extremely annoying

This makes no sense and is quite frustrating when it happens, and it happens a lot

I am using Android mobile application, Mxii 11 plus

1. I believe this happen mainly because of your ping . Like example u using kraken gun and have 300+ ping u cant just run with charged atk and release it (It will not hit the boss) you may see it that your distance between you and boss on your screen close enough to hit your proc but it will not hit . Idk what to call it delay ? u need wait a little bit like a second or two and release your charged atk .
2. Your atk will not hit enemy if there is obstacle blocking between you and boss .

Always readjust ur character to aquire the target(s). Something between latency and vectoring.

It's not just mages, you can do that on each class.

It doesn't matter where you are facing, attacks will spin around 180 degrees if theres target in range
Its not that, it hits the wrong target, the attack hits nothing at all.

I don't think that's the case, it happens even during a stationary boss like rahab
Also i believe my ping is very good (100+-), if my 100+- ping result in this issue,
Those with 300 500 is gonna be a nightmare to play.

300-350 ping not nightmare at all in fact many player play with this ping. I guess your ping too good that u never know how play on this ping looks like

I am speaking out for those with bad pings what are you on about lol
Even having this issue in indigo since when can that can go invincible.

bring your toxicity somewhere else and dont come to the conclusion if you haven't read the thread carefully,
this is technical issue and bugs, not a playground

I don't think this is ping related.

More likely, the target has an effect on them already that prevents the charged proc from hitting. This is just a guess. We'll look into it.

Happens with me too.. I noticed it usually happens when a there is a spring up action to boss like hydra for example.

Have to wait for 1-2 sec to proc. I used to believe it was ping issue.

My ping : 150+

My ping : 150+Right! I always use skills like lightning and fireball, when they hit that's where i use charged attacks. But the charged attack should be working in the first place.

Are you sure the boss isn't Dodging or you are 'Missing' the target? Both should show up in the damg feed above the boss.some weapons attack in a cone, I looked for the info but couldn't find it.

Suppose a video would help quite a bit here. Also, what boss?

I only do indigo and elite rahab but I am pretty sure it happens to all entities.
You do not turn towards the boss or anything,
And the charged shot just goes straight without acknowledging that an enemy is present

It happens mid-fight too so it can't be the boss didn't load because of the ping.
Indigo boss don't retract and become un-targetable so it's not a glitch with the phases

I can try to record a video but it doesn't happen all the time. But when it does, it has extremely significant impact

If you do the stutter step, that fixes the issue. I used to have this issue on my old warrior running indigo, I figured it was either a range thing or just wonky targeting acquisition. That was with SB hammer.

Just bored and trying to help here, but I've never missed a charged proc with the above method( Although not everyone wants to do that.).

Good Luck with this; maybe I'll buy a kraken gun and try to reproduce it tonight.

If im not mistaken The thing with mage gun is that it will completely ignore the enemy if u re not directly facing them,mage used to be able to hit enemy behind them with their gun while moving after the update they cant anymore,im not sure how big the cone range
