Poor Performance on Google Chrome

The game runs great on my Nexus, but my framerate is pretty bogged down and jumpy when playing on Google Chrome. My hardware specs are reasonable and I properly maintain and optimize my system. I run most modern games like Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 on high without issue. Is anybody else experiencing poor performance while using Chrome?

It seems to be running significantly better after killing off Skype, but the server population is also low at the moment. Hopefully it won't have much of an impact as the day picks up.
