Maker's Speed Set- how does the multiplier work?

The 3/3 description says there is a 1.5x multiplier to your MS.

I started with 2.99x MS. When I added 3/3 my MS was 3.49. So I am either calculating this wrong or the set is bugged.

I am assuming that the calculation is a simple....
2.99 x 1.5 = 4.485
If I am not calculating the multiplier correctly, thank you for the correction.

You wouldn't count your 'Base Movement Speed's twice. So that's why u are missing the 'Extra 1".


1×1 = one. Negate that redundancy but you gotta start at 1.00 Ms. Unless debuffed?

Multiplier is multiplying by the base which is 1x. 1.5 x 1x = 1.5x ms, aka +50ms
2.99 + 0.5 = 3.49x theres nothing wrong

Please read first the description before you guys answering.Jesus... multiplier is always with respect to base, duh! 1.5x base(1x) = 1.5x, 2.2x base(1x) = 2.2x.
I dont understand why its so hard to understand that u are asking for a dev to come explain simple mechanics ingame.

Good try. It's a form of marketing. Make something seem like it is good but isn't. Quite common.shall we go through the list of trash descriptions to misled?

Go ahead but we talk about this item atm and this item obviously has not the same description like the others - it does not say clearly it multiplies base movement it says your movement speed - as I just proofed all other sets do say base movement + this set is not a 2/2 it at least takes 3-4 parts - in my opinion its realistic that it multiplies your movement speed because else this set has no use at all in any other way

- no stats
- no gold loot
- 1 mythic luck item gives more than whole set

- only thing that sticks out is the movement speed multiplier

its not my fault that you did not read properly but in that case sts should say what its for then

Pretty sure they mean base movement speed multiplier, think i read somewere a dev stated this.. but like they wrote it down I would also assume it is a multiplier on your movement speed... very vague same like adding the bracelet to loot table 1 day before event ended :/.
People paying real money for this stuff and I'm not really sure why a dev would not be able to share his light on this matter.

I agree - the description should be consistent with other multipliers to reduce confusion. We will address this so that the language for this set makes sense.

The 3.49 value that you're getting is the correct value (given all the info we have about your gears).
