It would be nice if warming elixir only counts down in event maps, not on regular arlor maps.

Also, could you allow all Iced vehicle furniture from the old Frosted Downs event to work for scavenger hunt, not just some? A few work, but not all and it seems arbitrary. These items are not for sale currently (unlike the candy dish was during Halloween.) Locking that clue down to certain iced carts will make it even more impossible for most players. If you're a new player or in a small guild, chances are you won't know someone who ran that old event.

Try running solo, that way the boss spawn is based only on your silver tier, not other players' possibly higher tiers. I always run events with boss quests solo until I get the beginning boss quests completed, it is much easier.

big no no for point one, if they increase chance to find first boss it will be a big problem and u will regret this later :v, imagine still finding lots of first boss at plat tier, for that problem u can just invite bronze or unranked player to complete that

Event looks and is amazing. So much to loot and do. The only problem ive seen is the abysmal Weak Flamestone drop rate. For context i have on average looted 1 every 15+ runs. Brood Dragon is impossible to run unless you hemoragh millions of gold and unless this is fixed ASAP i dont believe there will be more than 5-10 Full Claus sets for each class by the end of event. Its hyper expensive per run (400k) for a flamestone and 1mil for a 10 min elix. Did 13 runs at the cost of 6mil for nothing. Please increase the weak flamestone drop rate as soon as possible.

Ok I found first boss after 49 runs so it's fine.

#2 is really bad - 12 weak flamestones in 136 runs means drop rate is no more than 10%

Holiday chest is even worse - just 2 in 136 runs. How are we supposed to get that Snowsilver for crafting?

Week1 plat tier rewards are awesome especially wisp. Kudos art team!

Its extremely hard to kill the boss on lower lvls, im personally lvl 14 and i have 1k+ dmg which is insane and it takes me over 5 minutes to kill the boss @Cinco please fix this while its not too late. Thanks !

The one from the Npc I received from doing the frozen gate map has just run out, and there is neither an option to re-enter the frozen gates to collect another, or buy a warm water elix from the vendor.

Vanity locks bugged. No vanities if you open on lower levels aside from endgame. Tried twice and it keeps happening, only endgame char getting vanities aside from wings.

Sorry, no plans to change this. We've phased out the Warming Waters Elixir.

Honestly the event is depressing me. To many runs to farm energy. To many runs to farm points, to many runs to farm flame stone, horrible drop rate on new arcs and the only map worth running is Brood. At this rate trying to farm is like a full time job and I'm supposed to be doing this for fun. Not even planning to try and reach plat the next 2 weeks. Don't know if I will be able to make this week unless I quit my job and stop seeing my family. Why make this event so painful. I understand profit maximization but at some point the game needs to be enjoyable. After the uup date 1 weak flames tone per 10 runs. 10 points per boss since I'm never making plat. So 100 tokens for the recipe and never collecting tokens for anything else. Also, why doesn't anything drop from Mt Spyr? We are doing hundreds or thousands of runs and absolutely nothing drops. People are excited to get 100 energy farmed in an hour.

With 100 tokens per recipe, and ZERO RETURN ON TOKENS FROM BROOD, the only event that does this that comes to mind (halloween net gain or even, hugthulu, etc) you have made running brood and buying anything from vendor impossible. Thats where the lixes will be used,. I dont understand the logic. On top of that, brood was a faster way to hit plat. Now its 18 points? You discourage lix use again, or running brood at all. Losing the timer as well, while you think it would be a benefit, is exactly the opposite in practice. You focused attendance with a timer. Making randoms easy. Now you can sit there endlessly... Waiting.. waiting.. was lix 10 minutes before? I dont recall for sure but you could run 50+ runs before in an hour.You popped a lix and ran for the hour. If that is true u cut the time by 85%, doesnt seem right on lots of levels. Capeo i did loot one crate! At 5k points.. I dont get any of this at all.
What I do know is, its messed up. The vanities are nice but actually attempting to get them, and spend on attempting to do so? I rarely post on forums, keep my thoughts to myself, and try to look at the side sts is on. On this tho, I had to speak up. Your fix? Brood gets a minimum of fifty tokens on kill, and double the points awarded to at least a passable level. I wish u could replace the timer but.. I will take what can be done. On the brighter side nice vans! Shame as it stands i wont be bothering, or spending, to chase them.

last year when I heard about the bane items getting "revamped" I tried to stay positive and I even said to myself:
"finally they're gonna rework this event that's been recycled for 100 years and we're gonna get some new and exciting gameplay"
ohhh boy was I wrong...

Let's begin shall we? what's new:

you removed the bane items
you removed the gold elixir that was helping not getting frozen
you reduced the time of the plat elixir to 10mins

this feels like a joke to me; I did 3 runs; each time I got frozen; never gonna set foot in that map again
it's unplayable w/o the lix; was that your goal? congratz you made it!! yaay

only thing remotely interesting would've been the Eye of frostwyrm but I already got it last year and let me tell you:
it's not worth the time investment

eggs? for top 5? seriously? who cares that they won't be obtainable in the future? you're gonna release a new better egg in a couple of months anyway!

so right now I have to invest the time to grind the energy kits then invest the time to grind the event and if i don't wanna be frozen for 2 minutes each run I need to buy farmer elixir as well?
I feel bad for the people running this event...


Conclusion:

I've been looking forward to this event for a couple months now but this is very disappointing
it feels like you're disrespecting both my time and my money

This is so frustrating

Events have been bad this year and everything is behind your pay wall. This used to be a good event but now you have made it impossible to get plat in a week unless you run non stop.

This is supposed to be fun not so hard. Flame stones are rarely dropping, the cost of 100 tokens to get 1 recipe for crafting them is ridiculous. The tokens received are so low that I have spent every token on a recipe. It should cost 25 tokens not 100. At this rate you can't even do the brood and if you do, the lix will last longer than the # of dragon stones to enter and be a waste.

In the map there are no drops except pink gear that is an auto delete. End game ppl don't need legendary gear. How about some lix dropping, anything that can be useful. I usually like events but this one is frustrating and doubtful if it's even possible to make plat tier in one week. It is Christmas time and not even one can spend all their time running event.

Flame stone recipe is way too high, i did 181 runs of frostire, looted 0 frostfire weps 0 claus, ( i used 5 plat each run) i cant imagine using tokens to run that much (18.1k tokens) for nothing, especially when token drop is so low

I'm not a LB player but what happened to this top 5? One of the main events of the game and the top 5 is disappointing. The idea of making an exclusive LB pet isn't bad, but they actually don't feel like one: happiness bonus aren't the best and neither is the ability, the design looks cool but what does design matter if the passive is far from good. That said, keep pets out of lb and keep sets... Frostfire had potential to be LB rewards.

Tier rewards are nice, specially the wisp.

Nice that brood is open 24/7, but what's the point if it's harder to get weak flamestone?.. But items it drop is good.

What's going on with the lockeds? Will everything now have different locks? Vanitys got their own locked, gold loot sets being a store sale instead of a locked drop... I understand that as a company, you need money, but this is bordering on greed. I have no doubt that soon we will have separate locks for each special item.

It's really hard to see a good future for the game if everything continues to be surrounded by a pay wall.

I really hope that next year you will consider the feedback received throughout 2024. I try to give feedback on each event, but it seems that with each event the next one is worse, with changes that go against the feedback, so as a player it's even discouraging to give feedback.

Being able to view the set contents in the store should be fixed if you patch (log out and log back in). I also added "Gold Loot" to the Gold Loot set names so you can search for them in the set browser. Each of the level sets has a different name.

- Make all event map bosses (Guardians, Syrillax, Tarlok, ...) drop jewels for plat tier user.
Why? Spawn rate of guardians is ridiculous (like 1 in 7 runs, longest streak of waiting for them for me was 13) and most of the time it gives no jewel and if it is a jewel, it is always standard. Other reason: running with lower tier friends prevents Guardians from spawning even i am plat tier already.

- Return back old brood grounds open system.
Why? 100 tokens per recipe with ridiculously low token income making me to spend all tokens i get on recipes preventing me from buying furnitue/ vanity from vendor. Expensive recipe causes expensive brood runs with terrible drop rate of vanities (got 0 in 300 runs).

- Make guaranteed jewel drop with elixir in Brood Grounds (Frostfire)
Why? 1hr elixir got changed into 10 min elixir. This very short lasting elixir should be worth using... Good drop rate of vanities (got multiple pieces per each week last year) got turned into terrible drop rate of vanities (got 0 in 300 runs). It looks like current Brood is just gold sink to me, it takes gold away from me and giving me nothing in return. In those 300 brood runs best jewels i got were fortified. You made sure for higher rarities to have very low drop rate, so we would be getting standard jewels most of the time with this change anyway.

I do not like how you changed old working system for this. 24/7 open Brood? But at what cost? I am skipping this event unless some changes are made. Ty

Hello devs, I would like to point out some stuffs regarding the Frostfire Wisp that many players are pointing out, the first being the range of travel of the wisp, is to wide please consider making it short for example like the Poison or Fire Wisp, also it feels very weird when u going around looks too stiff, and last this is a thing that should be look into, the loop, sometimes the loop cut and start from somewhere else like it's teleporting. Please consider this changes the wisp looks very good but how it was implemented kinda ruins it.

Drop rates in brood seems kinda low. I've only seen 4 frostfire gems in auc so far and for some reason also only very few two handed snow swords( especially when compared to rouge and mage weapons)

Honestly the event is depressing me. To many runs to farm energy. To many runs to farm points, to many runs to farm flame stone, horrible drop rate on new arcs and the only map worth running is Brood. At this rate trying to farm is like a full time job and I'm supposed to be doing this for fun. Not even planning to try and reach plat the next 2 weeks. Don't know if I will be able to make this week unless I quit my job and stop seeing my family. Why make this event so painful. I understand profit maximization but at some point the game needs to be enjoyable. After the uup date 1 weak flames tone per 10 runs. 10 points per boss since I'm never making plat. So 100 tokens for the recipe and never collecting tokens for anything else. Also, why doesn't anything drop from Mt Spyr? We are doing hundreds or thousands of runs and absolutely nothing drops. People are excited to get 100 energy farmed in an hour.

agree. Probably the worst winter event ever. Seems like we should not be sleeping just to reach plat tier. Even energy essence are rare. 10 plat for 10 min lix is very depressing. I’d prefer the warming water lix last yr that last for 1hour.

I just finished grinding to plat tier and man was it painful. Long ago event chests would provide energy kits, or the mobs/boss would kick back some energy essences on the event map. For 16K points, it required fulltime farming essences, offline crafting, followed by running the map. It was in no way enjoyable and borderline awful this year especially no more warming lix (freeze!). To plat once was a mental grind, to plat 3 times with those kinds of rewards I will have to really see.

I've suggested it before, but perhaps for those who don't plat the first week, let them roll over their points to the 2nd week/3rd week. Only if you've reached plat tier, then the following week your points reset. This can allow people to reach plat at least once. Also have a trade in system so that people can choose which plat tier item they want from which week. Clearly this year week 1 wisp was the most sought out for. Doing it this way won't affect lb runners as they're hundreds of thousands of points away from plat tier. It's mainly to help the casual players that wants to play during the busiest time of the year.

Brooding grounds lix that lasts only 10 minutes should go back to 1h, but it also shouldn't countdown while waiting for players. There should also be a timer in that it starts regardless after a certain time. I stood there waiting for others to join and I just couldn't wait anymore after a couple minutes. Literally 100K/minute. I was told that because of this issue, it's better to solo or to make your own parties and don't join randoms. That's a terrible way to set up the system. I typically enjoy helping others rather than being in OP parties, and I couldn't do it with a lix that runs out so fast.

Brooding grounds loot was terrible. Many lix runs later, I came out empty handed. Drop rates are low to preserve their rarity, but at the current prices not many will end up owning these "fun" Red arlor 2.0. If people do loot the Frostfire vanities, they're also underwhelming in looks. They barely glow. Hopefully some particle effects can be added like on the Frostfire wings (red and blue).

Overall there's a lot going on in the event, so much so that it would require it to be a fulltime job. And I think that's the part where it stops being fun and feel more like a job. No one is forcing anyone to go plat tier, but it was easier to hit 32k points over 3 weeks long ago, than to do 16k in a week. I Remeber the whole point of the split into 3 weeks was because the lb runners couldn't stand running non stop for 3 weeks straight during the busiest time of the year. Halloween was fine with less points required for plat, but winter was something else.

I've given up on trying to reach plat. 400+ runs and the time it takes to farm the energy is just too much for someone with a job. Please consider lowering the amount of points needed per rank by around 30% or perhaps increase points given per boss...

Besides that I enjoy it!

I got some questions about Farmer Elixir (because description of it isn't updated):
1) does it increase pts gain at usual event map (not at brood)? If yes, by how much %%?
2) does it prevent from being freezed?
3) does it give any chance to drop something special at usual event map? Or alteast increased chance to get winter chest/weak flamestone?

Imo lv 30 50 and 70 shouldn't even be for sale for plat. Level 10 "Avarice" gives more gold loot than the lv 30 50 and 70 sets combines and costs the least.
Ava set is like 5m or so which is equal to 50ish platinum. The level 70 set isn't even 500k.

Dislike - why can't I buy these vanity sets bound with plat....i cant afford 300mil + for these sets.
- recipes need a gold variant, not tokens, I'm trying to save to buy stuff. and even those pieces are high
- some players are OP and kill the boss when I'm frozen outside the gate, I get no points or tokens

like - I'm lv 86 parties are fun to run the event yay!

I think even though you don't see '12 tokens' pop up on screen you still get them. We tested this other day and person said they got the pts even though on other side map.

Why 30 50 70 have extemely low gold loot that is usless and the lvl 10-20 set have insane gold loot that is even more useless for beginners cause map lvl 1 to 70 drop 10 gold per mob 300 from chest and 500-600 from bosses what is a gold loot set gonna even due and those drops rate i mentioned is with my 1150gl set

I got 2 questions:
1. Is the crit damage of upgraded version of frostfire gem(eternal frostfire) stackable?(Can I get few eternal versions and do the crit damage stack?)
2. Can we get any visual effect of upgraded version of frostfire(the eternal frostfire)? Just like we had upgraded version of hailstone and it gave freezy hands look. Cool feature in my opinion(1 freezy hand+1 fire hand would look dope)

I was about to make a post as well as I did close to 6 hours of elite Sanctuary of Secrets and absolutely nothing and I asked around and some said it dropped within 7 runs for them LOL. Finally after almost giving up, on the second day of trying it finally dropped for me in Elite Sunk map. It drops when you least expect it is all I can say. For me anyways, it was the hardest to loot out of all the items.
