Winterforged weapons and their base damage

I have been comparing new weapons and I can’t wrap my head around the damage difference between classes, how come chain sword is so overpowered compared to chakrams or orb? can’t be right, that chainsword gives me 16k damage when I use rusk sword, other classes represent similar amount of their primary stats and wear rusk weapons as well.
