Awakening event questions

Does the awakening event start when winter event ends, or does it start after catacombs event? Also, do y’all think arcane awakening gems are worth double the price of elite awakening gems, or should I just use elites? I want to spend a ton of gold/plat to roll 30% m/s awakes and idk which gems to use.

Usually awakening starts right when winter ends.

Arcane awakenings just worth to use on arcane items (due the 4 awakening slots), other than that doesn't worth, specially with this new awakening system and the trash it brought.

Let's hope they finally listen to players feedback and rework it.
