Will Enchanted Eye craft expire at end of event cool down?

Someone in my guild claimed that if the Enchanted Eye is not FINISHED crafting by the end of event cool down it will disappear from crafting and be lost. Others disagree and say as long as you begin crafting before event cool down ends, it will continue to craft and you're all set. But guildy SWEARS they lost some eyes from crafting menu last year because they didn't complete in time.

Can I get an official answer on this? I don't want to lose the eye. I also don't want to pay for speed ups if they aren't necessary.

Of course you wont lose it, I mean, the event cooldown is 3 days and the craft takes 5 days.
Also, I have crafted lockeds that takes 5 days to craft (lab locked) 3 hour before event cooldown disappear, they didn't get removed and I was able to receive them when ready.

Thank you. That was my understanding as well (and what I remembered from last year) but I wanted to be sure.
