Question about non tradeable and tradeable awakening gems

As the title states, i’m wondering on, what’s the point on making non tradeable and tradeable version of elite gems and arcane gems, when they are literally the same prices.
50plats for elite gems, and 100plats for arc gems.

Its for people who are buying to use it. So they dont have to buy and then open them in inven again.
